As I wrote in Through Green Eyes this week, if Croker had kicked just two more goals this season he’s on 80 percent success rate, same as Smith. TWO goals. Then he comes out tonight and he’s five from five. Now he’s 78 percent success rate. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Yeah, but he can’t kick t...

Re: 2019 NRL Round 14 - Teams and Game Day

I thought that there was going to be more equity in TV game distribution once the NRL took over scheduling. That and the abolition of 5 day turnarounds, which generally work in the favor of the teams that are allocated the most Thurs and Friday games.

Re: Canberra Raiders open Jordan Rapana contract talks ahead of his injury return

Jordy is pretty important for us. It's not just the magic he produces. Since getting past his EDIT fingers stage, he's been pretty safe with ball in hand, does a lot of the hard work effectively coming out of our own end, is a reliable defender and does a lot of cover in defence. He's one of our mor...

Campo was extraordinary when in form, but that run of form that Hayne had was absolutely unbelievable. Campo regularly bear defenders but Hayne was beating whole teams.

I said the same thing about Alan Tongue, but if Jarrod Croker was a Queenslander he would've played ten origins by now, and would be firmly entrenched in this side. On the flip side, if Mitchell Pearce and Ben Creagh were Queenslanders, they never would've sniffed the Origin arena. Huge call I'm su...

The issue here is the Maguire ruling. Gouging is low and potentially sight threatening. It's not acceptable and deserves a lengthy suspension. I'm OK with the him getting 5 weeks I'm not OK with Maguire getting away with a fine. In saying that, if the NRL wants to be harsh on this, someone needs to ...

Re: Raiders greatest non-premiership winning players

I think that you have to choose in terms of what they achieved while a Raider. Priddo was awesome, but didn't achieve a lot in green. Do people think that their team could reasonably win a premiership? Not one out of the box like the Tigpies one, but hit the season as favorite, finish top 2 and win ...

Raiders greatest non-premiership winning players

Quite a lot of the positions in the Raiders greatest team pick themselves really. It's a bit more of a challenge if players who have won a premiership are exempt from contention. Who would be in your greatest Raiders team ever, made up purely of players who have not won a premiership with this club....
