Re: 2024 Round 3 v Warriors: Game Day
Hosking, a middling player who presently isn't in any rep equation, is showing us what an edge player in the current game should be doing, and what we're missing out on by starting with Whitehead and Young. Both aren't fit for purpose.

I actually think it’s pretty easy I think he’s flat out a better player right now than both. No development needed But it’s a winning team and winning well. A “tough” call will need to be made for Hors, but for me that’s not tough Would you drop Emre for Trey going into next week? We just won by 20...

Buoyed by the sight of Savage being shifted back to his natural position on the wing, where he should've always been. It gives us that lingering threat we need with a side that isn't particularly dominated by the spine in attack.

Man, this is a shadow of the side we had even back in '17 and '18. I never thought I'd ever see a team with Mick Crawley on the coaching staff play the way we are right now.

We'll probably start well against the Knights and then die in the **** in the last 20 minutes. None of our players have played more than 25 minutes in the trials. The only exception is ...

Looks like we're carrying over many of the same problems we experienced last season and the season before. We simply don't have the skill and guile inside the opposition 20 to capitalise enough on momentum we generate. A spine of Drinkwater/Dearden/Townsend/Robson isn't the best in the league, but i...

Re: Canberra Raiders express interest in Cowboys forward Luciano Leilua
We got the best out of his brother, so I'm fairly confident Ricky would have a blueprint to get the best out of him. With the inexperience and lack of quality currently in our spine, we need to supplement the side with some dangerous outlets. 900k though? Even with the cap increase, it seems quite s...

I've got him nabbing a bench spot on current standing, ahead of either Backo or Lomax.
With Papa, due to squad balance and the edge also being another position of relative weakness, I'm keeping him there and have two of Furner/Whitehead/Wiki fighting for two other spots (one starting, one bench).

Scary how much he reminds me of his old man..... which I don't really like, given the period for the club Woolford Snr's stay coincided with. He's currently the best of an ordinary bunch; fine as a backup dummy half, but we need to actively scout an upgrade to fill the void Hodgson left us post ~202...

Couldn't improve on last season, which the odds were stacked against given the ridiculous level he went to. I wouldn't have given him the Meninga Medal again, but he was still a worthy recipient based on the season he had. The question now begs, does he get into our best ever side? If not, what more...

A number of people seem to be forgetting how he played in 2014, when he was first moved to the halves. He was awful to the point that Stuart moved him out, just like this season. I don't think he was quite as bad this year, but easily one of his worst with us. 6/10 is being kind. Ultimately, I think...

Incredible game that, played a break neck speed. Panthers were put through that test just to show the type of side they are. Generational. You dream of your halfback standing up and giving you that type of performance when you're down and gone. To go out there and actually do it in a Grand Final.......
