Good cap management. Sent from my CPH2021 using Tapatalk This is a bizarre statement unless it’s tongue in cheek. Not even remotely tongue in cheek. My post wasn’t a shot at Saulo It was simply to say a player with 7 games to his name and still acclimatising to FG speed due to limited minutes in those 7 games is not going to be the same player as when he’s got nearly 2 full seasons under his belt I mean saulo himself is not the player he was wh...

I've never ever understood the disdain for Saulo. I must be watching a different player to everyone else. From day one he was better than Guler. He always turns up to play and has been progressing well. I love Horsburgh too, but I'd almost have Saulo above Hors for consistently good performances. Se...

Long bow for Riccio to draw suggesting an injury to a stop-gap second rower somehow 'revived interest' in signing a marquee level player that we've been after for 13 months.

Yep, sorry 21 mins. He needs significantly more time before we fully start comparing him with the likes of Mariota, Saulo and Guler.

Haha. I surely must be the only person here not in the slightest way miffed by this 'revelation'.
I appreciate that the footy fans here will absolutely hate it, but it's finally a very smart government investment decision.

It’s the minutes Starling are on the park that are the problem, it doesn’t matter if Levi is on the field with him or not He just offers next to nothing as an option off the bench and we lose so much direction with him manning the helm Yeah, Starling in general, but the Starling and tired Levi comb...

Mooney is going OK. He definitely needs more NRL minutes to prove himself. He's played with some impact in short bursts.
Not sure why he only played 15 minutes vs the Titans, especially after Hosking went off. Injured?
At the moment he's on the Sam Mataora trajectory. Plenty of talent...

Re: Coaching issues
The only metric of performance the punters usually care about is the number of tries scored for and against. Same with any sport. However, there are obviously a significant number of other metrics the coach will be looking for. The perception of playing well is a bit more complex than feeling a 30 p...

This is a very inexperienced squad and is exactly what the punters have called for. And yes, there will be ups and downs. Expectations of us being a well oiled attacking machine at this point of the season are unrealistic IMO. However, I can already see marked improvement from last year, in both att...

Why is this a gender thing? Badger is a very good ref. She is the best bunker ref by some margin IMO. Belinda Sharp is also an excellent on field referee. However the Titans were rightfully called out for intentionally slowing down the ruck. Hasler was a prick for implying that the Titans got the ro...

Not to forget we had a first game fullback and a 5/8 with all of 5 games of NRL experience. Easy to blame the coach for not playing rookies and then when we run out with a backline that average 21 years old, except for Fogarty, we blame the coach because the backline looks clunky under pressure. I'm more concerned that Ricky watched that game against the Titans and said he thought we played well. Then Chevy is offside. But you don’t call that and blow a penalty 100 out of 100 times. Unless it’s blatant, which it wasn’t, you let that go. He was as offside as the Titans were 24 times during the game that weren't called. Hands on the ball in the ruck was another thing as well. Conversely we we...

Hoppa sucks in defence, Schiller really sucks in defence. They both struggle in making decisions but at least Hoppa can tackle when he's in position. I think it only happened due to Hosking's issues. We had to burn 2 interchanges when plan A would have seen him play 80mins and Starling comes on for Levi in a straight swap.
