Re: Joey Leilua has successful surgery, but out for the season

To allow for cotric to remain in centres if he kills it. Not a giant step There's nothing about Croker's game that would make him a decent winger. So now you want to drop our captain entirely if cotric shows hes a better centre than him? Youve lost the plot I haven't lost anything. In this hypothet...

Re: 11, 12, 13

Defensively I’d have: 11. Whitehead (left) 12. Bateman (right) 13. Tapine (middle) In attack I’d have: 11. Whitehead (left) 13. Tapine (right) 12. Bateman (middle) There’s no reason why that can’t happen. I’d also have 10. Sutton as I hav since pre season. Sent from my iPhone using The Greenhouse I...

How did a thread about Leilua being out for the season lead to a discussion about moving Croker to the wing?

Re: 2019 Rd 11 V Cowboys: Teams and Previews *Teams p1*

Gotta stick to our gameplan for this one. If we play like we did against Manly, the Cows will sneak up on us as they have absolutely nothing to lose. They have a pretty decent forward pack, so if we hold them in the middle and keep our fair share of possession, we should get the W. Just gotta play a...

Re: Williams or Sezer?

Yeah, that spiral bomb towards the end of the game was a really good kick. The fullback was under a lot of pressure to get into a decent position to field it. The kick that gave them the 7 tackle set that they scored off was a terrible kick. We couldn't even properly contest the ball. It was the mos...

Re: 2019 Rd 10 V Rabbitohs: Game Day

Just lacking a bit of firepower at the moment Yeah, Leilua, Rapa and Bateman out hurts, but I still think we created more opportunities to score than Souths did. They are a tough defensive team, probably the best in the comp in that regard. With a bit of luck we could have scored a few times there,...

By the way how good was Lui’s first stint tonight? In attack he did the tough stuff and continually found his belly. He was also really solid in defence. Re: 2019 Rd 10 V Rabbitohs: Game Day

Tough loss. As almost everyone has indicated, our forward pack really turned up last night, without Bateman and Tapine. I'd have loved to see JB ripping in that game. Oh well. The turning point was William's terrible chip bomb in the second half, which was easily diffused in their in-goal. Souths we...

History will reflect he was absolutely one of our greatest Prime Ministers. Contemporary politics certainly misses the vision and plan that a person like he had for Australia.

Re: 2019 Rd 9 V Roosters: Game Day

Looked like a handful of silly errors and some tough referee decisions in that first half cost us the game. To be 10 points down so early was an indication that the boys were a little off their game today. Good to settle it down and fight back. Still a bit of improvement to come. I honestly don't th...

Re: Joey Leilua out for the year?

There's no way Stuart is moving Wighton or Bateman into the centres as a solution. He didn't even move Wighton back to fullback when CNK was off the field.

Re: Joey Leilua out for the year?

Yeah I'm with Woodgers. I'd be chucking him in the deep end now. Oldfield is a genuine winger. Cotric is a centre playing on the wing. It really depends on Leilua's prognosis. If he's expected to be out for months it may be timely to rearrange the combos now. If he's only out for a week or two, then...

Re: Past Raiders teams with most Internationals

I think Sutton's a while off being an international - or, at least, he should be. England has more depth in the front row than Australia at the moment (I'm waiting for the day when it's more than a couple of positions), so when you think he's be ready for the Green and Gold, he's probably not too f...

I personally think it's madness not even having a single game in Sydney this weekend. I think if it gets momentum from this it will be a success in Sydney. I was really nervous about our depth in the middle, but Sutton has been fantastic. To be honest, we've been pretty lucky with injuries there though. It's mainly in our second row that our depth has been tested.

You are rating us on potential. We haven't shown anything to suggest we would beat them at their best. 8 games in and we have the best defence in the comp.
