Re: 2019 Canberra Raiders Jersey Flegg

Ronnie, unfortunately I haven’t seen the two finals. Is Jarret Subloo a chance to be back for the GF? I saw he was named on the extended bench last week.

He was a very important player throughout the season. Liam Mock is another who got injured at the wrong time.

Re: 2019 Canberra Raiders Jersey Flegg

There hasn’t been a NSW 20s winner v Qld 20s winner since it went back to Flegg last year. It is just for NSW Cup v Qld Cup. The three games on GF Day are the same this year as last year. The only difference is the state league game will be played first then the women’s. Last year it was the other w...

Re: Grand Final tickets

Frankly, I don't understand why GF tickets go on sale so early anyway. Or why they don't reverse it - a limited number in July/August, then the bulk as soon as we know. They'd still sell it out. I suspect they would have real trouble selling it out if the tickets went on sale so late. So many peopl...

Bateman should be a shoe in. Papa and maybe Wighton chances in their positions. I wouldn’t rule Hodgson out for Hooker.
Hodgson won’t get hooker. Either Smith or Cook. Probably Cook cause I think they count Origin.

Bateman a chance. Papalli should be the shoe in for mine.

Not sure why the Junior Kiwis are not playing the Junior Kangaroos this year.

Junior Roos are playing France (I assume their senior team) before the test match in Wollongong on October 25.

Re: 2019 Canberra Raiders Jersey Flegg

The comment that the last game against the Roosters was more decisive is not quite correct. We actually led comfortably 16-6 at half time before getting run over. Final score was 28-16. Their full back Baker was superb but it was their forwards who smashed us and a couple of them don’t appear to hav...

Re: Ata Hingano, Royce Hunt and Brad Abbey to depart Raiders at season's end

I think Hingano was pretty Unfortunate. Got hurt at the wrong time and we haven’t had a lot of injuries in the halves the past couple of years. We needed him at hooker last year and then coming on to the wing in that game against Manly was never going to work. Abbey I thought looked pretty good last...

Disappointing. He might not have been the first choice this week but realistically over a 3-4 week finals campaign we are probably going to lose someone and he would have got a run.

Good to see the AFL player from GWS that got sighted for an eye gouge last weekend get a $7500 fine. The tribunal specifically said it was not an eye gouge. I was very surprised Toby Greene didn’t get suspended. He probably has the worst record in the game mainly for just silly incidents. It is a p...
