Re: 2020 in review - Corey Harawira-Naera

I am super excited about having this guy going forward. I am not too interested about his performances this year, I reckon with a full preseason and being in the right headspace coming into next season he can be a star for us.

How can Anderson be on a train and trial AND have signed a 2 year contract? What GE has written is correctly quoting Mulholland from the article but it doesn’t make sense.

Re: Matt Timoko and Adam Cook join Canberra Raiders top 30 squad

GE, in past seasons Clubs have had up to 6 development players. With all the rule changes this year I may have missed it, but is it still possible to have up to 6 development players? The Bulldogs announced their development players last week and in the article it was confirmed clubs can have up to...

Interesting if you look at the back of those jerseys we have Huawei and Austbrokers as sponsors on the back. Austbrokers were a sponsor for a while under their former high profile managing director Greg Johnston until they sacked him citing financial misconduct. Media reports from June this year sug...

Re: 2020 State of Origin III - Teams and Game Day

Will Freddy survive as coach? Hard to make a case for him. I know he won a couple of series but that was against Kevvie Walters. I am pretty sure both Fittler and Walters were reappointed mid year for 2021. They obviously felt that they needed to give them certainty. Presumably it is only about 6 m...

Re: 2020 State of Origin III - Teams and Game Day

This song probably sums it up again for NSW. There will never be a bigger choke that 2017 where they dominated in game 1 in Brisbane, had them on toast in Sydney with Thurston with one arm and then capitulated in game 3 but this series was an absolute shocker to lose. I don’t care who wins so can wa...

Nami has missed out in the updated teams tonight. Bad luck for him but I think they are probably a bit more balanced with their side. Capewell had a great first game and is very versatile but you wouldn’t normally start him in the centres.

Without doubt winning finals are always the big moments and I didn’t go into that game particularly confident so that was my best moment.

When you are a game away from a Grand Final and it doesn’t happen that is pretty heartbreaking although we had a while to get used to it before full time.
