I couldn’t see the NRL expanding the game by reducing the reach in another market.

It was the first time since 2001 that we kept an opposition scoreless away from home.

I think there were only two home games when it happened in that time, 56-0 against the Broncos in 2009 and 14-0 against Parramatta 2013.

As Brian Carney pointed out they are meant to be the Great Britain and Ireland Lions.

Mind you I doubt there will be anyone in the team that does not qualify to play for England.

I was surprised to hear he was playing in the golf pro am the other day. I know it is nothing like the contact of Rugby League but I wouldn’t think he would be allowed to play golf if he was still in rehab.

Quality NRL players are not wigets. You can’t just make more of them. If you get salary cap relief when a player is stood down, another club is losing a player which potentially just inflates the whole market.

Disagree. It puts Townsend in the halves and Wighton back to full back. And we get him with 5 months of the 2019 rugby league year already gone and paid by someone else.
