Low key I genuinely think the club thinks Horse has another week - he doesn’t need to return via cup. It’s suspension unlike the 36 year old second rower. Also because I’m still annoyed at the Guler selection… 2022: 76 run metres per game 2023: 87 run metres per game Career average of 0.83 tackle b...

Re: The Boxing Thread
Fundora is as decent a replacement as you'll find- at least he's a name. Everybody gets the jitters when they come up against Tszyu it seems. If Thurman really wants to come back after 3 (?) years out, mayb e best he eases back in because Tszyu seems ready to chew the division up. Yep, Fundora will...

Re: 2024 Rd 3 v Warriors: Teams and Previews
He dropped Ata and kept Guler. :doubt: We all knew EW was always coming straight back in. That's the strange one for me Dubs. The game is fast paced and we pick the slowest forward we have. It's like Sticky still thinks the scrums are contested and we need a big open side prop. Those days are long ...

Cotric in on the wing. EW in. No mention of HorsPower. Hosking bench in place of Ata. Guler still there?
So glad Hosking did not get the Left Right Out position. Can cover both back row and center.

Re: 2024 Rd 3 v Warriors: Teams and Previews
With Johnson kicking for the Warriors, Sticky would want players proven capable of defusing kicks in the wing and full back positions. He could leave (the now leaping) Hoppa on one wing with Xav and Rapa and bring Schiller into center. Or he could put Hoppa at center and bring in a fresh winger. If ...

I can't believe people around here are entertaining the idea of Whitehead back into the team.....tell me you know nothing about football without telling me. Xavier Coates leap from 5 meters out with all his body out over the side line but planted the ball for the match winning try was just sensational. Warriors had fought back so well to take the lead. Warriors will be very tough to beat next week.

Kris did not come back from his HIA. So does Hoppa come back into left center and Cotric onto the wing or does Schiller get an opportunity in FG at center? I reckon Sticky will go with Hoppa to center and Cotric back onto the right wing.

Re: 2024 Round 2 v Tigers: Game Day

With the ball the Raiders forwards did very well and Fog constantly kicked the ball into positions to make it difficult for the Tigers. Without the ball we were loose in the middle and they got their 2...

Re: 2024 Round 2 v Tigers: Game Day
Probably should be leading by more than 12, it was hard to fault their attack that half and they had 19/20 completions. The two soft tries are a worry. Middle of the defensive line not sticking their tackles led to both tries. In the Tigers second try Rapa and Levi both beaten before the line. In a...

Hudson Young v John Bateman will be a niggle-athon. Neither will take a backward step and I hope Young doesn't take it too far and cost the team by losing minutes in the sin bin or worse. The Raiders should win this providing their heads are switched on to playing footy and not distracted by anythin...

If he's serious about it, he probably needs to forget the AFL/NRL route and just knuckle down and start working his way through the ranks. 26 is young enough that if he's good enough he can make a career out of boxing. My concern with Hoppa is his 'sit down' method of taking bombs. He is so low when he takes the ball that Bula will hardly have to leap to catch the ball.
