Re: Through green eyes 2024
You are a generous man GE. No way was DL worthy of a 3. Defensive Liability, intercept passing, poor ball control in a scoring opportunity where no other player touches him he just drops it, solo runs where no one - including him - knows what he is doing which killed an opportunity on the left beca...

Re: 2024 Round 8 v Sharks: Game Day
Absolute indictment on the attack coaching. It is just unfathomable how the red-zone attack is still a shambles, ten years after supercoach took the reins.

Re: 2024 Round 8 v Sharks: Game Day
Is anyone surprised? Fair dinkum look at the youth and injuries. Anyone who thinks Flegg/Cup players can slot in and we put on points against the ladder leaders and even win is delusional. This is what blooding youth en masse looks like, especially without the experience and leadership around them....

Re: 2024 Round 8 v Sharks: Game Day
The whole team got run off the park from the first 5 minutes. Sharks have about 5 gears the Raiders don’t and I doubt personnel changes make a heap of difference to that. I just dont think they have it in them to play with that intensity. The most important change is in the coaching department. Ric...

Re: Coaching issues
To me, it’s less about the cattle and more about the lack of structure that we display every single year. We have become one of the most boring, predictable and frustrating teams to watch and nothing seemingly ever gets done to address it. Even now, all our young exciting outside backs talent is ha...

Re: 2024 Round 7 v Broncos: Game Day
Chevy Stewart courageous. Courageous yes, but he just hasn't added anything in these couple of games. An NRL fullback doesn't get by on courage like Gary Jack in the 80s did. He’s an 18 year old for god’s sake. I said that he shouldn’t play first grade for another year because playing games like th...

Re: Is Ricky Stuart the person to lead us to another premiership?
Forget winning it every year, let's start with winning it once. Just one will pretty much do most of us. Genuine question... How many NRL coaches have had a 10 year tenure at a club without premiership success? Would love to know the list. Wayne Bennett hasn't won a comp in over 10 years. Sti...

Re: Is Ricky Stuart the person to lead us to another premiership?
You can't, but the coach can put mitigating strategies in place. Again, the Panthers seem on track to win it in 2023 without their starting 5/8 in Luai.

You can't win it every year Surely a p!sstake, we haven't won one going on a third of a century Noticeably you ignored the other points. 👍 Because they're just data points on the over-all trend, and if you want a response to your points, then you should have the decency to respond to mine, such as ...

Re: Is Ricky Stuart the person to lead us to another premiership?
The trend? Our team hasn't improved its roster. It's quite simple. It's not coaching, it's personel. That's in the process of being rectified but that always happens, to every team in the league. It's unavoidable. Hodgson - multiple injuries and regressed Bateman - dogged it Leilua - did what Joey ...

You probably don't really want to use the trend in results as your argument- it's steadily worse each year since 2019... I know - hence my asking it as a rebuttal...? Re: Is Ricky Stuart the person to lead us to another premiership?
Lol. Todd Payten went alright last year too. Although I think Webster is the pick of the bunch it's ridiculous when people use 1 season of coaching to say whether someone is a great coach or not. Let's see how he is going in 5 seasons. That's a fair time frame. Give us a summary of the trend since ...
