Re: NFL Thread
First NFL game I've watched in my life, and only from Q4. Great game, albeit I didn't understand the tactics and the rules. Ricky Stuart reminds me of the 49s coach. Conservative, afraid to win a game. Conservative when on top, thinking he had enough points to win. Fogarty reminds me of the 49s QB....

Seeing that Bakhtiari,Jenkins are out and Tom is questionable for Packers Thursday night against a rising Lions defence. Jones and Watson likely but you have to think they’re only in because of the importance of the game. Massive game for GB. Am a GB fan and agree that this game could very well det...

Re: 2023 in review - Jordan Rapana
I'm gonna miss this guy when he hangs the boots up. Many will disagree, but he's been our best ever winger. He would have destroyed all sorts of records at the end of our early 90s backline. Couldn't give a rat's about to the suspensions. If every player in our squad played with his passion each we...

Third time against the knights this year.
Reckon the coach has plenty of tape on them.
Let’s hope he’s learned something.

Re: 2023 NRL Finals Week 1: Teams and Game Day
Big choke from the Sharks - that miss from Bailey was a shocker and two missed goalkicks. But Roosters continue to just slow the ruck and constantly offside defending their own line. Constant flopping in late to slow the ruck and get away with it. Klein and Sutton let them get away with it every ga...

Congratulations to them both.
But just a few more kudos to Rapa doing it at 34 and playing four less games.
This is a guy that in 10,20,30 + years will be remembered as one of the greatest ever Raiders.

Tend to agree, especially if you’ve been backing the Raiders in the first round of semis the last three times they’ve qualified.Northern Raider wrote: ↑September 6, 2023, 11:27 am This has all the makings of a classic upset. Take Raiders @ $4.60.

I don't know who'll start the season but provided we get Sanders for 2024 and we don't get any miracle new signing I'd like this to be our best 17 come late season. 1. Stewart 2. Cotric 3. Kris 4. Timoko 5. Savage 6. Strange 7. Sanders 8. Horsburgh 9. Trevilyan 10. Tapine 11. Young 12. Harawira-Nae...

The key scenarios: The Knights need to lose to the Dragons and the Raiders need to win against the Sharks to finish fifth. If the Knights win, and the Raiders win, the Raiders can still finish sixth. If the Cowboys win against the Panthers, and the Raiders lose, the Raiders are out. The Roosters v ...

A 4 for Rapana.
Same as Starling and Frawley.
That’ll do me.
There no point commenting about his input each week with you.

Him testing the market would be the best thing for all involved because we’d probably be able to extend him for half of what he’s on now. Your death riding of the bloke is well and truly noted. With Croker Whitehead Wighton all moving on there’s a vacuum of experience and leadership in 24 and beyon...

Did I just see... Cook is a Jet? ARod gets his "Jones". I speculated on that earlier this page when everyone was expecting him to sign with Phins. Breece Hall is still PUP so they've forked out the coin for a 1 year deal to Cook as short term cover. U did. With ARod, Cook and Wilson, and ...

I’d argue that JR didn’t knock the ball on it was batted back by the dogs player which lead to their try. And his hooking of the ball back from the drop out was a risk, sure. He lets it go and it’s a dogs ball for sure.He plays at it and there’s a chance a Raiders player is able to claim it.Either way...

The only way that there might be a glimmer of hope for the remainder of the season is if we thump them 50-0. But it ain’t happening. It’s depressing that we don’t have the ability to do this to anyone. Even the stone motherless last Tigers put 66 points on the Cowboys. We barely beat them, twice. T...

What has happened to the defence of 2019?
He had them dominating in defence especially close to the line.
They went from a side that could win 12-10.They had an identity.
Where the **** has that all gone to?

Terrible performance from the raiders. Ricky needs to take a good look in the mirror.....absolutely got out coached by old "mate" bellyache. When the game was still 10-2 Bellamy brings on Harry G and big Nelson to attack the game. Ricky brings on Pasami saulo to minimize the damage/ grind...
