Re: Don Furner says John Bateman has permission to have negotiations with other clubs

Against 2 of the worst teams in the competition. Titans were equal 1st and Warriors only 1 win out the 8 until we got hold of them! This guy gets it Outstanding first post! yes it was. ANd if those stats were so important, how much do you think tonight's game lowered Bateman's value?

How quickly he has slotted in and found this feet. If our boys stay fit, we are going to be so difficult to beat. Didn’t even have John Bateman tonight
I reckon tonight lowered Bateman's value by 50-100k

Hodgo really doing great things from dummy half with the pace of the new game. Much like 2016 when we dominated lots of games through the middle. He is the best hooker in comp under these rules. Potentially he was anyway, but this takes away the argument for mine

Re: NRL makes landmark call on Canberra Raiders trio

Looks like it's up to the individual states. QLD has come out saying they're banning the QLD players. Need to wait on NSW/ACT's ruling but the problem will be even if they OK it (which is unlikely), I'm guessing it means the 3 players won't be able to travel to QLD to play, effectively ruling them ...

Re: NRL makes landmark call on Canberra Raiders trio

Be interesting whether Anti Vaxers will take a Covid vaccine if it proves safe and successful. My guess is a fair proportion won’t suddenly be quite so against vaccinations if it can protect themselves and their kids. Anti-vaxxers believe the whole COVID response is a conspiracy to help big pharma ...

Re: Raiders stars protest as NRL considers banning players

They should be stood down. It sounds like all they had to do was sign a liability form, acknowledging they are at increased risk of influenza if they do not get the vaccination. Agreed. The crossing out of the line was childish. They weren't forced to get the shot, just sign a form. ****. They shou...

Agree will be interesting to see what happens if it drags on beyond 6 months. At the moment the strategy they are selling is to: (1) starve the virus of spread, and thus wipe it out. But it will only take one person from OS to come back in and we go through it all over again. That path could lead to...

Can Tapine play a game without being placed on report? He's either not hard fit so loses it when gassed, or he's just plain dumb. Either way I have very low tolerance for him. I don’t think there is any calculations in that at all. BJ is a powerhouse and I love him. He is a loose cannon and will not make the right decision every time (like throwing a pass to Rapana to win us the GF!).
