Re: 2023 Rd 13 v Rabbitohs: Game Day
This is the kind of game the raiders win. Coming in on the back of being trounced last week, clear underdogs, the bunnies somewhat understrength. In saying that, you just don't know which raiders side will turn up, the gritty team that can bludgeon the opposition into submission, or the team that wi...

Re: Raiders Review with Blake and The Pork
I listened right to the end. The sound quality of whatever that was at the end is so poor… it’s not worth having. Whoever that is… it’s not the first time. It wasn’t worth having even given the poor sound quality, from what I could make out. That's this guy Kev from Cumnock who keeps on sending us ...

What are your thoughts on Ricky's team selections?
I really feel like there's some question marks over Ricky's selections this year. There's no way Sutton shouldn't be in the top 17. It's really coming across as petty from Stuart to not select him. Sutton has always given 100% when he's on the field, and I think it's Stuarts job to select the team t...

Here are some unsolicited thoughts in numerical order, hopefully you don't mind some honest constructive critisism. Obviously, take these thoughts with a grain of salt.... 1. I agree with the guy above, the show's getting too long. If you can keep it to about 40ish minutes I think it's the ideal le...

Re: Is the wooden spoon a 2022 reality?
I think it's a real possibility, but not a probability. The fact of the matter is....despite an incredible come from behind win last week....3 out of our previous 4 halves of footy were absolute garbage. More than likely, we'll end up somewhere in the bottom 8...but probably not down the very bottom.

Re: NRL expansion could lead to raid on Canberra
Losing a player like Horsburgh is a positive for mine.
He's way too much of a loose canon....he has a lot of passion which I love, but is chock full of errors and stupid decisions... plus he cries all the time...it's kinda weird!

Re: Is Ricky losing the team?
I think the club is generally way too cautious with changing coaches..... most coaches don't get that long at a club.....much like players, sometimes the club needs a new coach to freshen things up. Ricky has done an amazing job, I'm not calling for him to be sacked, but I wish the club didn't have ...

Is Ricky losing the team?
There definitely seems to be something going on at the club.... Dropped players...."injured" players..... We're playing terribly and Tapine's wife bagging out Ricky on social media. It just seems like something's going on, maybe a bit of unrest, or maybe Ricky's just burnt the players out....

But lads, no offence....I don't think anyone enjoys the whole fake Sharkey / podcast fued except for the people who host the two podcasts.

Ricky would be pretty hesitant to make any major changes prior to a finals match. I think we're stuck with Valemei.Darren Fritz wrote: ↑October 5, 2020, 1:33 pm Fair point. It would force CHN to play more minutes but I wonder if that's less of a risk than what's already happening out wide. Manu and Morris will have a field day otherwise.

Grand Final T Shirts
Anyone know if the club will be making any??
I have very fond memories of wearing the raiders shirts when I was a kid, "back to back attack" being my personal favourite.
Would be really disappointed if they don't make any.

I'm just going to enjoy the week, soak it up, and see what happens.... Stranger things have happened but I don't have real hopes.

You need to go to the grand final. This might not happen again for another 25 years.
My 6 year old has expressed a little bit of interest but I'm just too poor to bring him along, he's cool with it.

All we can hope for is that he gets results. Based on age, the core of this squad has about a 3-4 year window. Hopefully they are good enough.

Geez, it's hard having a decent discussing here. Did anyone actually read my post?? I never called for him to be replaced, I basically said this "croker's not kicking great, if this continues we may have to look at other options". That's it. Some people in this thread are overly dramatic.

I feel bad for him, but I think it's fairly obvious that he just doesn't have the skills a head coach needs.
We should bring him back for a role at the Raiders.... Non coaching.
