Re: 2019 Rd 10 V Rabbitohs: Game Day

Fantastic effort from the Raiders - I’m feeling good about this season. A lot of solid performances across the park but if we could teach someone else to play back up dummy half I’m happy to punt Havilli. Too many errors in him and he doesn’t offer enough. I respectfully disagree, Havilli is excell...

By the way how good was Lui’s first stint tonight? In attack he did the tough stuff and continually found his belly. He was also really solid in defence.

Re: 2019 Rd 10 V Rabbitohs: Game Day

Fantastic game. Souths are a really good team who have been in sensational form. Both teams had personnel missing but played really well. The sort of game that could have gone our way with a bit of luck. For me I'm still really liking what I see from our boys and think there's a lot more positives ...

For those who came in late... which is me, I only have one thing to say about ref bias - who told them that our players wearing the number 11, 12 and 17 shirt were all called "Elliot"? That guy, whoever he was, was being called by the ref to get off the tackled player in just about every tackle of e...

I’m impressed with this season so far but to be totally in praise of Ricky he’ll need to keep it up the remainder of the year and just as importantly next year, need to prove this isn’t going to be an anomaly. Last couple of seasons much of the criticism for our results was levelled (rightfully) at...

Not too worried about that loss. We were always going to have some bad days at the office, it's a long season. How we back up next week will count for more IMO. I'm in full agreement. I'd like to blame refereeing but it was as good as you have any right to expect. And most of those penalties were s...

Didn't know where to put this so it ends up here. I met Gary Coynes parents this morning and they were very happy to talk about his football journey. Lovely people with a great love of rugby league. I thoroughly enjoyed reminiscing about the raiders glory days with them. I like your post. That's al...

If you'd watched the 1990 second ashes test as it was on right there on your tv, you'd never doubt the power of international rugby league again... I read somewhere today that Nick Cotric said he'd done a bit of training at fullback recently - so if CNK is to be rested, which seems unlikely, that would quite obviously put Nick at fullback and I'd say Simmonson on the wing outside the club captain... Just on that issue of back end defence, well,...

So just to count our chickens before they hatch... If we win this by six we are equal first even on F/A with the Storm and Roosters, win it by 7+ we are outright 1st (again on F/A). Been interesting watching our odds shorten for the premiership. We started the season at 26-1, down to 13-1 now which...

awful commentating - on fox they whined about the last Cowboys try and said not a word about the last Storm try which had a "flat" pass go from a yard behind the 10 to two in front... not to mention the reffing - I thought Atkins and Badger were possibly the best - now I see they put protocols ahead...

Agree with CoastalRaider and Raiderskater here - and pretty much everyone else, but I did like their points. Interesting answer from Paul White on expansion (to something which wasn't actually a a question)(and I paraphrase from memory): "I don't know anyone who doesn't think new clubs wouldn't be a money pit, and I use as a example the AFL with GWS and Gold Coast".
