Every time I think the joint has jumped the shark, they work something genuinely original into the script. I love the Keghead character. He's a bit overplayed and I don't think they've quite worked out how to use him yet, but the jack-in-the-box defence of Wighton is still very entertaining. Edit: ...

I dont think so. Your $750k at a healthy 5% return is, as I said, bouncing along the tax free threshold, especially with inflation taken into account And you still haven't managed a reply to the benefit of simply slowing the implementation to minimise the impact on retirees. And as I already said, ...

Say what you want about the Raiders, but we really do produce a better class of redemption article. I'd class this as second only to Todd Carney changing an old lady's tyre. So the story is made up you think.... know all? You really are a sook of the highest caliber. Settle down, champ. I was laugh...

The reality to this is, of course, that this will just push people into investing with companies that provide unfranked dividends, most likely disbursed into family trusts for year levelling, ensuring that the government won't see an extra brass razoo from the whole painful exercise.

Hang on - the government has pushed people into self-funding their retirement. OK, that's a change in the last 20 years, but people have adjusted. They gave people certain strategies, incentivised through the tax system, to do so. Because it has now become politically unpalatable, Shorten is now pul...

I think the optimism bias here - and I'm looking at you, Nickman - is in equal parts entertaining and deeply delusional. Can Ricky jag us a finals run? It's not impossible. But let's be honest here - there's something deeply rotten at the Raiders, and all the scrape-into-eight finishes in the world ...
