4/10 - I honestly can't decide if he is a good player who is underused or a bit of a plodder. I think defensively at least he deserved much better minutes.

He makes way too many crucial mistakes and unlike BJ or Rapana doesn't make up for it with the rest of his game. Bulking up won't fix that.

3/10

He tries hard but he is far too limited in his skill set for first grade and he doesn't look to have the ability to add much to it after 70 games of the same stuff. With the players coming in I don't think he will feature much.

Re: Open season: All 16 NRL teams’ off-contract stars in 2019

Jeez there really aren't a lot of decent halves around these days. Johnson is the only one on the list I would see as getting us extra wins, but even he isn't perfect. For forwards I'd still be looking at Ofahengaue as our main target for next year. I'd say Munted would too... possibly even Brooks....

I thought Raiders had re-signed Tapine, or was that unconfirmed?

Would definitely like to keep both. Should be able to.
It's one of those imminent deals. Perhaps it will get done when he is back from England as apparently Rugby League hasn't caught up with signing and scanning documents yet.

People being harsh on Papa in here. Yes he started slow, and got dropped. BUT, once he moved to Lock he was the best one in the game for 2018.

8 is acceptable
The season was done by then. Given his seniority in the squad he has to take a lot of the blame for that.

I have to give him credit for making the move to the middle. He never looked that good there in the past for mine. Hopefully he transitions to the lead prop spot as well, we really need that to work.

7/10

Probably looks like a harsh score when he was at least an 8/10 for nearly the entire year, but our poor start was what killed our season and he was a huge part of that. I am looking forward to him starting the year with a flyer and keeping it going for the entire season.

I don't have a lot of confidence in these signings producing first graders for us and the second article suggests we might be a short term option for him, but he sounds like a good prospect.

I'd assume this would be one development spot.

Knights tanked hard for three years to get their warchest. Whether it was worth the suffering is yet to be seen, they still aren't winning the arms race with the Roosters and Broncos.

It's probably a good example of why front loading should be banned.

Unlike our departing props at least Sutton runs on to the ball, so if he follows Hodgo he should get meters.
