Not Raiders related but it could easily have flow on effects. The Dogs are supposed to have offered Mitchell a 10 year, 11.5m dollar deal. https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-premiership/exclusive-bulldogs-make-record-115-million-10year-play-for-sydney-roosters-superstar-latrell-mitchell/news-story...

Re: 2019 State of Origin II: Queensland V New South Wales

Turbo for Latrell - cutthroat and BTW really dumb. Did QLD ever drop GI? Did they pick him even when his club form was ****? **** kinda selection is that?!? I believe they did drop Hodges twice. But the difference is Inglis never failed to show up like Latrell did. Even if Inglis played badly he wa...

Re: 2019 Representative Weekend: Teams and Game Day

I think its fair to pull Rapana, looks nowhere near 100%, Surprised Tapine has been pulled though, TBH I thought he could do with the game time. Interesting to hear Stuart say that the club comes first, does he mean before any rep football or just before international games? Papalii has had a massi...

Panic stations from NSW once again. - Daniel **** Saifiti. **** me - Very harsh on Morris. Has Trbojevic ever even played in the centres? - Picking Maloney now when he should've been picked for game one - Dale **** Finucane. Re: Jarrod Croker

I guess Jack being picked at centre for NSW blows away the conspiracy theory there is some sort of bias against the Raiders keeping Croker out of Origin. The state selectors pulled a guy out of Origin retirement ahead of him for game 1 then picks his team mate out of position for game 2. Hmmmm do y...

Tbf with Klemmer, Woods, Lodge, TPJ, McLean, Fifita, Haas all unavailable for various reasons it’s slim pickings. Tbh I’d have picked Junior Paulo if he wanted in.
Opted for Samoa I think.

Re: Canberra Raiders open Jordan Rapana contract talks ahead of his injury return

Bemusement ensues whenever talk of letting Leilua move on starts up again. We’re going well as a team atm. But really we’re struggling big time in attack and people are thinking of moving on the second best centre in the game and our most creative attacking weapon? Really? We’re missing Leilua heav...

Agree we have to see what happens given our tough draw but I wouldn't have us lower than 5th and we beat the other team that has the best case for 4th on Thursday.

If all teams are fit and focussed then it's a big 1 for mine. The Roosters win comfortably again. They are running second and unlike the Storm and South's haven't played near their best. Once intensity and reffing changes in the semis I think that the Storm will lose their big advantage during the r...

No inside knowledge. If I was a betting man I'd say BJ as they are both right side players, plus the injury issue, plus we are winning without him.

Re: Canberra Raiders open Jordan Rapana contract talks ahead of his injury return

Is anyone else concerned that now that Cotric has had a taste of his preferred right centre position, he won't be happy to bide his time on the wing for another 3-4 years until Croker or BJ retire/leave? Re: Canberra Raiders open Jordan Rapana contract talks ahead of his injury return

It's still unclear when BJ will be back and how the injury will impact him. I think he will be eased back in and then I suppose Cotric returns to the wing until one of the three leaves at the end of 2020. Croker would be 31 at that point so most likely to leave of the 3 from a practical view point....

Before 2008 Campo was in and out of first grade but he always played well. 2008 Campo was solid all year but he was the second fiddle until Carney left. Then he was unstoppable. He's literally one of the worst halfbacks on the list, and that's taking into account a number of second stringers listed. No question the standard of halves has dipped significantly over the decade, but that to me says even more about his level. We need a better halfback in order to win a premiers...
