Good to see, especially since there is more chance of the English team having future Raiders than the Australian one.

Re: Liam Knight off to the Rabbitohs

If it's any consolation I'd say if he showed any real ability he would've taken the first offer to go back anyway. He looks as Sydney as it gets.

They're not supposed to as I understand it... they're not supposed to use TPAs as any inducement to join the club. It's legal for them to make a general introduction. They just can't be involved in any actual deals. https://outline.com/RwUzkC If a player is receiving money from any person as a way ...

I think it's 2 by kick off + 1 by June 30. Also potentially Rapanas replacement and 3 development players.

Re: TPAs per club revealed

Even at this level of disparity the broncos and storm can afford to offer 10% extra salary to EVERY SINGLE player in their squad. Compared to other teams. And no one believes this is the full extent of the disparity either. It’s Bull and the Broncos board should be tossed for chronic underachieveme...

Why waste time writing a press release when they can just wait for us to work it out and the Canberra Times journo to read it on here and write about it

Re: Raiders Contracted Players - Updated 25 November 2018

We should be using our rookie contracts better for long term development. With Roache departing and with one spare i would be locking Medlyn and Westcott in and let them play a full season of ISP instead of 20’s. That has to be better than letting them play 20’s all year. Re: TPAs per club revealed

It wouldn't surprise me if those deals are not included in the figures though, as they could be considered "game sponsor" TPAs, which are excluded from these numbers. You may also find his foxsports contract is peanuts for two years and ramps up year 3 when he is retired.

I don’t disbelieve the figures. However the Roosters one certainly jumps out. Shows to me that Nick Politis is the best negotiator in the game. Re: TPAs per club revealed

It's a list of legal TPAs. The issue is illegal TPAs, like the sharks self disclosed one, the Parra players getting free rent, and the DT itself stated players are getting cars they're not entitled to. This is probably just a way for Toddy Politician to remark about how the system works and what a ...

The 2017 High was also the Storm, with 800k, which also corresponds perfectly with the line!

You blokes need to go back to school.
Pretty sure you'd lose marks for having no title on the chart and chucking a legend in with a random data table. Plus spelling high wrong.

Based on the early articles on what would be released I am pretty sure these numbers don't include small contra deals, left over marquee allowance deals or whole of game deals with NRL sponsors like Telstra. Also the NRL site has an article with a nicer graph. https://www.nrl.com/news/2018/12/13/nrl-makes-third-party-agreements-public-and-strengthens-contract-process/ Good to see all letters of offer will have to be lodged now and any...

Re: TPAs per club revealed

It clearly shows that TPAs are not a a pre-requisite or even a major influence on success. The advantage is not even a rep players salary anymore, outside of the storm. I also think given TPAs have dropped since 2016 it shows that the advantage was huge under the old cap and that we had the right to...

If we believe the Roosters are on $200,000... then the NRL truly does believe in Santa Claus! It's the season!
We wanted these numbers for years, if we are just going to not accept them we couldve saved a heap of time and whingeing and stuck to the brown paper bag angle all along.

Looks like he has some League background and grew up in Canberra, played with West Belconnen before playing with the Dogs SG Ball & Under 20's.

Hopefully goes better than the last Rugby 7's player we signed.
