Re: A new Canberra Stadium
I’ve always wanted a new Civic stadium, but at this point, I’d be happy for them to knock down Bruce and just build a new one on the current site.

Aside from E.W being on another planet thinking they can win the comp this year or next year, there will not be harmony in the dressing room while Jack keeps his spot in the side. By EW comments I dare say he is thrilled. What else would you like him to say, jimmy82? "I agree with Jack, we're ...

Re: Canberra Raiders offer Nick Cotric three-year deal
Pretty concerned about this one. I think he’ll leave, which is just bad for everyone, Bulldogs included. They need spine players. I worry we are going to become the Adelaide Crows who are saying to all and sundry ‘well you’re not worth that so off you go’ which shows a lack of understanding of the m...

The problem with dropping guys at the moment is that there’s nowhere for them to go and work on things.
How is Scott gonna get better if we drop him? It’s just an awkward situation. Bench will do for now. There’s no guarantee he sees the field.

Further, The six again decisions may stop tactical infringements (it won’t) but it is also going to give the refs even less chance to catch their breath, leading to even more inconsistency. I’m dumbfounded and quite furious about this.

What the hell us going on? V’Landys is an absolute cowboy, these decisions are absolutely insane. Never mind that he’s doing it against the majority wishes and with no testing and announcing them two weeks before the season restarts from a totally unprecedented situation. A complete and utter cowboy...

See ya Joey, thanks for the good things you did. However. I hope you have a **** year with the tigers, you got left out of the round 21 team because you got fat with your injury. Some strange attacks on Joey here. Completely agree with Botman (whoever the hell that is), that we are far worse off for 2020 without Beej, however I understand that in order to extend your premiership window, you have to make savings where you can and take a chance on cheaper guys hoping they will...

I don’t mind the 20/40. I don’t see it as being introduced to negate good defensive sets, I see it as a tactical option. Scrum on the 20, down by 8 with 5 minutes left? Try a 20/40.

Re: Grand Final tickets
Hi gang,
I have four tickets in the Raiders supporters bay - I wanted 8 and couldn't get them originally, so bought 4. I then tried again and magically got 8, so I'm happy but now I have 4 too many.
If you want to be in the Raiders bay, take these first.
PM me, I obviously only want to cover costs.

Pretty disgusted that western side tickets were released so late in the day.
I just tried to send a complaint via the NRL website and of course, it's not working.
I had no trouble getting western side tickets in 2010, 2012 or 2016!

I'd be interested to know if ANYONE was able to get Cat 1 tickets on the western side? One of the first things I read about John Bateman was a quote from someone who played with him in England (sorry, can't remember who said it), but in talking about how hard Bateman is, they said 'John Bateman puts his head where other guys won't put their feet'. That BJ story feels fishy to me. We've all woken up with a sore neck. You go to the physio, get a massage, get some acupuncture, whatever. I think that's about as good a team as we can name, but geez we're lacking size up front. The Titans forward pack is a huge strength, I don't know how we're going to be able to stop their go forward. The team looks alright, but yeah I'm a bit concerned.

Does the court take into account the NRL punishment when handing down it’s fine? If not, then the NRL fine is monstrous. If so, then maybe that’s a reason for the slap with a wet lettuce leaf.
