He comes from the the Storm system and has won a premiership. He could turn out to be a better signing than Loxmax and hopefully cheaper.

Burns should never have been dropped. But with his technique worked over by Pakistan it wasn’t the time for him to be recalled imo.

Re: Canberra Raiders re-sign Sam Williams on two year deal

Fwiw Sammy Williams became one of a select few Raiders to play first grade ACT cricket on the weekend. Scored 30 odd so must be handy with the willow.

Wrong club though.

We’re getting to the point where we may as well just start picking NSW + Marnus

Clarkey saying this signing is done on his FB page.
Then adds speculation that BJ is gone

Re: Canberra Raiders close in on major signing coup with Melbourne Storm centre Curtis Scott

Presuming the price is right, and it can get done in time for a full pre-season, I'm very bullish on this. It seems to me that a tuned-up right side of Leilua outside Scott has a lot to commend it. Opposition left edges would not fancy coming up against that pair and it might allow Simonsson to be ...

There would be some dismayed die hards in the old dart. Wayne Bennett has absolutely gutted them. Surely their coach needs to be someone heavily involved in the ESL and England based. The form of the Australian based players is pretty easy to follow and the main 4/5 are walk up starts anyway/

Re: Canberra Raiders close in on major signing coup with Melbourne Storm centre Curtis Scott

I think it's either BJ going or Scott will be at #14 in the Simonsen type role. BJ is better than Scott. But if we lose BJ, Scott is a much better pickup than Zac Lomax to strengthen our outside backs That entirely depends on how much you'd be paying them. If you could have Lomax for 230k but need ...

Re: Canberra Raiders close in on major signing coup with Melbourne Storm centre Curtis Scott

My first initial reaction is that it's unlikely BJ will be here in 2021, so if Scott performs like his ceiling suggests, would anyone disagree with 2. Cotric 3. Croker 4. Scott 5. Simonsson 14. Leilua BJ is big enough to play as a roving forward/runner. Imagine bringing him on with 20 to go in a ti...

Amazon Prime is the most underrated streaming service imo. There’s some really under rated gems on there and a plethora of in depth US sport documentaries which I really enjoy because I generally don’t know the stories to start with.

Neser is not an all rounder.

And Paine isn’t good enough to bat 6.

6 bats. Paine. 4 bowlers. Lubbers, wade, Smith and Head can send down 20 overs a day between them.

He wasn’t even picked initially for Aus A so a grafting 50 at 6 shouldn’t have changed anything. It’s ridiculous.

Considering Khawaja averages 60 in Australia he should have just been picked to open with Warner.

Dont worry, ads will come Im old enough to remember why my dad first got Foxtel. No ads in between shows, at the end of shows, to chew up the time between one show and the next they'd run promos for what was on other channels or coming up later on that channel etc... James Roby has continually and consistently out played Josh Hodgson at international level. That suggestion that Roby is the second best hooker of this generation isn’t as silly as it sounds imo. It is a lot easier to look good coming off the bench fresh when opposition forwards are tired. Ah I gue...

I'm going to go out on a limb here 9.5 After losing Austin, his shift to 6 meant we lost ball play from fullback and he very quickly became our most important player. We lost a lot of creativity in attack, we essentially lost Leipana and Sezer was steady at best. He was our go to and we made the gra...
