Re: Wests Tigers consider signing Joey Leilua from Canberra Raiders

I don’t think signing Douehi is a positive move for them tbh. really? I thought he looked impressive considering he got shuffled around last year as a rookie, was pretty dangerous against us in the semi Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk He’s one of a long list of random over rated Sydney based p...

I really like Gigot as a player but I’m not sure he’d slot in at NRL level. Could possibly play a Simonsson role off the bench.

He doesn’t look comfortable at all.

We are missing a big hitter big time. To put Mitch Starc in at 3rd drop is full blown ridiculous.

If Leilua starts the year at Mounties, it is up there with TLL and Campo as huge calls Ricky has made on big name players. I’ll back him. We aren’t losing much by replacing him with Scott.
Could not disagree more.

Top tier centre for a mediocre one imo.

So to take a leap and assume Sticky IS holding a grudge - would it be the lazy defence for the match winning try or the non-pass for what would have been the match winning try? I might be in the minority but I don't think BJ was lazy in defence before the Roosters scored their match winner. I think...

Hmm don’t forget their best bowler was out. They just need some big, big runs from Latham, Williamson or Taylor. Their biggest weaknesses are Raval, Santner (though a typical just an all rounder from NZ) and I actually think Nicholls isn’t as good as his charmed start to test crickets suggests.

De Grandhomme and Wagner have been my favorite 2 players for some time now. Was good to see them perform well over here tbh. CDG will have to shoulder Ferguson’s load now. They need to knock us over for less than 400 and go big first innings to big to be a shot here.

Any team of the decade, century etc HAS to be determined on where the player actually played. It makes no sense at all to decide many years later, that a player should have played in another position. If they were THAT well suited to another position... they probably would have played more than 20 ...

I don’t have any problem with how these are used as my previous post suggests. They maybe just need to rename it. Under 20s have Flegg and if they’re real good they make the top 30 anyway. Enabling 20+ year olds to take up this option and remain professional players in Australia is a good thing imo....

Wighton. I think he was under rated at fullback and towards the end of his tenure there he was very good.
