Gee I'm concerned about Valemei tbh. If he plays off the bench it's wasting a bench spot when we're severely down on troops. If he plays on the wing there is no team better at targetting inexperience in the most vulnerable and isolated position on the field.

Very odd decision. I can’t understand why he’d be ahead of HSS or even Medlyn tbh.

Re: What's wrong with us right now?

I know this rarely happens in the modern game..... But I reckon once we have sets in the opposition half of like to see Toots and CNK swap. CNK slots into left centre and Croker moves in field to sweep in attack. Croker is no absolute star but without the running in defense I reckon he’d be very goo...

If every club took a stance not to employ players who had, at one time or another, been led by EDIT, Will Hopoate would be the only player in the game.
While this is tongue in cheek I think it’s a pretty succinct response to the issue.

I don't know about the original problem and I don't really care. As long as he has served his punishment (from the State, not a ridiculous governing body thing) then everyone deserves a second chance. If a 'crime' committed is bad enough for the rest of the team not to have a player's back, that's ...

I reckon the club would be all over this. Use the exemption this year and a better contract moving forward. Young and Bateman to play up the guts if they make it happen.

Re: Ennis - Sign Billy Walters

He’s not a hooker. He’s had 1 pre season and like 3 games at dummy half. It’s a pretty ordinary suggestion from Ennis and isn’t even worth the discussion imo.

This seasons rule changes has shown that actual hookers, not fill in halves, are essential.

Re: Ennis - Sign Billy Walters

Is he any better than Starling or Havili? Havili yes. Havili is a middle these days with the ability to play at 9. Starling, not sure, but probably. But he is a bigger body, who can play 80 at 9. Looked good for Tigz pre Grant. Id only look for the rest of this yr, coz there is no spot next yr here...

Re: Kai O'Donnell debut

He did well but not keen on him starting at the moment. Better suited providing some energy off the bench. I liked what Sutton offered starting the week before. He works well in those tough early exchanges. Save O’Donnell for when the pace of the game starts to wane and he can give is some spark. U...

Re: 2020 Rd 9 V Storm: Game Day

I’m not going to join the choir of dropping the back on the bench because we don’t have a forward that a) is a first grader to bring in and b) is fit enough to come in and do anything of note anyway with no first grade. Sterling replaces Hodgson and shares with Havili, a back comes in for Simonsson ...

Re: 2020 Rd 10 V Roosters: Teams and Previews

We need to get players in even more desperately now. If we don’t by next week....

Havili probably needs to play 30 at hooker then have a second stint at lock. I don’t want Scott back but he should come back in for Simonsson with Rapana playing as a forward off the bench imo.

I presume he’ll be used as a lock for 15-20 mins as it’s a tough ask for Hudson Young to play 80 and alternate between the edge and middle.
