Re: Williams or Sezer

I’ve watched a handful of Wigan games on Kayo since I heard he was coming. (Kayo is awesome btw) A team needs a leader who will call the plays and steer the team to the spots for set up plays. That can be, and is, Hodgson for our team. Second to that you need halves that create and/or finish off at...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2019

I was willing for the club to get Edwards to save us from Abbey but have always been very reserved on him as a player. He hasnt even played 30 NRL games and I reckon at least 10 of them would have been well below par. I think you’d be crazy as a club to offer him anything more than a very low salary...

If Andrew Johns is an Immortal, then Ricky Stuart should be one too. Same level player. Johns was just elevated due to a bunch of babbling hype by Channel 9.

All I’ll say on the Collins selection is that selections like this would probably seem off tilt for other players vying for that spot. Royce Hunt was 18th man last week, missed A weekend of football and then misses out on the 21 this week presumably because Collins performed well in the game he miss...

Why shouldn’t Inglis be an immortal? He is without question the most dominant state of origin player of all time. For a decade NSW picked an entire edge of their team based on based on Greg Inglis. One of the greatest Kangaroos players of all time as well.

Re: South Sydney Rabbitohs 2018

I completely forgot about Lockyer! I probably have him ahead of Thurston too, but not really sure. I still think Lockie's best football was as a fullback, although he transitioned from a great strike weapon to a great game manager really, really well. Agree 100% Stretching including him as current ...

Inglis was a better player than Meninga for mine. I’ll be crucified on this forum for that on here I realize that. So Inglis the Immortal then ?? Yes imo. Meninga clearly better and more influential than Inglis. Meninga had that Inglis like tackle breaking ability and strong defence. So they are even there. A big body has to come in for Tapine. Either Horsburgh or Hunt imo. And I imagine Stuart will be careful with Young. There’s not much point him playing 5-15 minutes for more than a month because he’ll be out of nick. I think we’ll see Murchie in for him for a bit sooner rather than later. Murchie l...

One thing I've been wondering after seeing Wighton's try. Why don't we bomb it to that side more often? We have Cotric, Croker and Wighton - all who are great in the air. Heck, even add Whitehead in there for his timing and ability to catch a ball on the run. With so many targets on that side, defe...

I hate golden point. 25 game season of an absolutely grueling 80 minute physical sport. If normal competition games are a draw they should 100% just stay that way.

I’m fairly outspoken on my opinion of this Williams not looking like a halfback. But if it’s what the current set up are aiming for and they think they can make it work and happen then why not. Because realistically there aren’t many genuine 7s about and none they we’d have a chance at getting witho...

Re: 2019 Rd 4 V Cowboys: Game Day

I think the three quarters ‘clicking’ is more a result of them getting their first dry track run outside of halves playing straight. There are some good players in this side but the biggest strength in this squad by a long way is what the 2-5 provide in attack.
