Yeah...if only it was round 14. Feel you may have missed the general vibe of the initial post.

Raiders V Donkeys Rd 14
Last time I was able to go to the big smoke to watch the Raiders, there was a thing going with the Lord Alfred pub on Caxton Street being an unofficial "Away team" pub. Does this still happen and will there be anyone making the effort this year?

LK Bradley Clyde: don't even care who the other lock is because no human has ever been a better lock than Bradley Clyde . Watch him go- the biggest motor, the smoothest run, offloads, passes, tackles don't look fun to wear, makes tough yards, makes breaks, you only need ruck outs from modern winger...

Re: 2020 Finals Week 3 V Storm: Game Day
Has anyone on this forum been able to say that since Valemei has been starting, that you have felt confident that the outcome of any type of play (bomb, grubber, passing movement) towards his wing would be positive, ie. he would catch/tackle/stay in play ? He is quickly turning into the Albert Fuliv...

Was watching the game and wondering why, as a back, would you do a set through the middle to help out when you have the option of a shift two wide and do the same thing, but running into other backs instead of forwards? Simonsson, Cotric, Scott, all having a dig but just getting monstered, not the s...

Not going to the Grand Final? Fan watch parties!
Team,
All things being equal I will be in Adelaide on Grand Final day watching the Raiders do battle against some other loser mob. Anyone recommend a good sports bar/pub to watch the game at?? Not fussed, just need cold beer and big screens. Thanks,
Whitty

I harp about this point a lot but it irks the **** out of me every week - the kicking for touch. Last few minutes of the second half, Cronulla penalty when they need position and bang....ball gets kicked 50 metres and they are deep into our half and attacking. We get a penalty not long after, deep i...

Re: Williams or Sezer?
I'm hoping Sezer has been working on his kicking so he doesn't serve up them pathetic little dabs at the footy he was coming up with last season. For christ sake if you are going to kick for touch, kick the **** thing down the field more than five metres. Give it a reef, or just take a tap and don't...

...and running into the posts on a kick chase was hilarious (See my rant last week when Papa was denied a try by the goal posts, why are they in a position which can affect play?). Do you think we should also get rid of them pesky sidelines which are also in positions to affect the play? I understa...

Re: Through green eyes 2018
BJ likes to be the tough guy. Pick him in the pack where he can play against other tough guys. My eye test tells me he is doing more hit ups, more effectively than either of the two props who are leaving. Pick him at lock with Papa moving forward to Prop. BJ has the size for it. This would allow Co...

Thought Kaufusi was one of our best. Seemed to be the only one who looked dangerous with the footy under his wing. In a game of 742 missed tackles didn't think his were that bad.

They'd be mad not to dedicate a small part of the new building to this. Just something modest. Anyone know when the raiders train during the week and where? I'm in Canberra for the week and wouldn't mind going to a training run and having a look, maybe showing a few of them how to tackle. And kick. Probably do a few passing drills as well. But mostly tackling.

Re: How good is Sezer?
Is it just me or does Sezer kick it about as far as a three year old when kicking for touch? He had a good game last night, but it really irks me when there is a penalty given, he grabs the ball and kicks it almost directly to the sideline. Is there any problem with trying to kick the ball downfield...

Re: 2016 Rd 14 V Broncos: Game Day
Raiders have to have the two most softest tackling halves in the comp. Would be quite happy to let my daughter run the footy at either Sezer or Austin, the most turnstile style halves I have seen in a long time. Austin is running away from anyone with the footy, and Sezer is getting run over like a ...

Played touch against Sean Hoppe on Wednesday night. Still looks fit enough to run around with a NRL team. Carved me to pieces, but that isn't much of a performance indicator, a walrus with a broken flipper could carve me up these days.

Any one of these when he is wearing green. My favourite is the one starting at 3:45. That's just sheer pace, a proper wingers try.
