Re: 2024 Round 11 v Bulldogs: Teams and Previews
The fullback spot will be really interesting. Based on Sticky's comments Rapa will definitely be ready, but I thought based on his comments on resting Chevy that he was fully intending to bring him back as fullback, but with Cotric being outstanding last night, it leaves a real headache. 1. Chevy 2...

Re: Canberra Raiders make new offer to Eels half Ethan Sanders
I hope he kills it and gains valuable experience. Interesting conversation to have next year if he absolutely brains it the next few months with us still having Fog for the next 2 years. I can see the Ricky hate next year when he leaves Sanders in NSW Cup for most of the year (although to be fair Fo...

Re: Hooker for 2025 and future years
We’ve got the most promising junior hooker in the country on contract. Who's that? Xavier Cacciotti was the Australian Schoolboys hooker last year. And he’s not the only very good junior hooker on the books. I can’t remember a better crop of dummy halves coming through the club. If the Raiders cann...

Re: Canberra Raiders make new offer to Eels half Ethan Sanders
Well, given Fog is out for at least a couple of months, it's time to get Sanders for this year. Not expecting him to be the saviour, but this is the year to give him, Strange and Stewart experience. We are realistically not going to go anywhere this year, so better to suffer the growing pains this y...

Re: Ethan Strange re-signs with Raiders to end 2028
I don't think everyone is realising how POTENTIALLY successful this new era could be. Imagine locking Strange, Chevy and Sanders up long-term. They are arguably 3 of the highest rated prospects in the game, seemingly all very good mates, and in key spine positions that could win us lots of games. Ho...

Re: Newcastle Knights sign Canberra Raiders back James Schiller
Look, you can't keep them all, maybe we realised that we had to drop Schiller to spare some extra cash for Mooney.
He's been great no doubt, but wingers are a dime a dozen. Asomua is coming through and you still have Hoppa and Cotric. Plus Jed Stuart has been pretty bloody good in NSW Cup.

Mariota has been impressive on the edge, I didn't realise he was so versatile, he really is a mini Papa.
Agree that Mariota to start and Sisagi on the bench for Hosking.

Re: Coaching issues
Do you blokes really think we will win every game by 30? Even when Penrith was the most dominant team in the comp, teams would "get up" for it and they'd barely eke out a win sometimes, especially against some of the bottom teams. The Titans were winless which means if you think about it t...

Re: 2024 Round 6 v Titans: Game Day
:( We have been nowhere near as bad as everyone is carrying on. A few poor sets in attack but the Titans have scrambled well and slowed the ruck down/been offside no end. With high completions and persistence, you wear sides down, even when you aren't at 100%. Good teams win these games and move on....

Re: 2024 Round 6 v Titans: Game Day
No matter what happens, maybe I'm downplaying what is happening and Im a bit delusional.. yes our attack is clunky, but I reckon the Titans would beat most teams tonight, they're very tough defensively. It's one of those games where they are up for it and I reckon a lot of other teams would struggle.
