Best talent I have seen in the last 10 years.
He doesn't look or sound like a complete **** either, you don't have to worry about him past midnight.

Re: 2012 Rd 14 V Knights: Game Day and Post Match
I'm not convinced with Dugan at 5/8 - However i'll hold my judgement, as he's making the same mistakes as Todd Carney and Terry Campese when they first started in the halves. His attacking kicking game in the opposition 20 needs to improve the most, and no more cut out balls to the hot dog stand. Fe...

Most of the QLD team had an obvious grudge for Beau Scott, the poor bloke did nothing wrong though. Have you seen him play at club level? He's the self anointed hard man of the NRL by standing over players like a Greek God but proved himself to be a massive fraud on all facets of his supposed stren...

Re: Vidot for Souths Logan
So Furner can drop Vidot on the basis of attitude (Poor performance at training/showing up late) but he cannot be dropped because his performance isn't up to standard?! Confidence can be built in the lower grades believe it or not. Manu Vatuvei dropped more than a handful of bombs in consecutive wee...

Re: Vidot for Souths Logan
He's a raw player who could use a few weeks at Logan or U20's. Carney and Milne are knocking on the door and if they can come into first grade and catch the ball in addition to running hard and making metres in our own end, it'll only benefit first grade by having healthy competition. If we have to ...

Re: 2010 Rd 13 V Titans: Game Day and Post Match
It's hard to explain but Campese has a serious technical flaw in his kicking. A few weeks ago against either Souths or Wests, he tried to kick on the run and it went straight to their fullback on our dying set to steal a win. Today, it stood out when we were trying (hopefully) to force a repeat set,...

Re: Raiders in box seat for Barrett
I don't know what people think of Warren Ryan, but I consider him a rather astute judge of a footballer. About 3 weeks ago, after Barrett murdered another chance to set up his outside men, Wok cried out in frustration, "MY GOD, BARRETT HAS THE WORST VISION OF ANY HALF IN THE NRL!!" It was...

I wouldn't give Miller a free pass but his reputation within the club will see that it happens. A senior leader who happens to be the hardest trainer isn't going to be given a few weeks in reserves.

Re: Player in Focus: Daniel Vidot
In terms of physical ability - The potential is there to be a club great.
Right now I don't see him being used correctly. At the U20's level he shined at centre and fullback, and with ball in hand he's tough to bring down. Get Monaghan to play outside him.

Re: Thurston's behaviour last night
The referees deserved to be shot for some of their decisions in the final few minutes, notably Manly being a good 2-3 metres off side, the Matt Bowen 'knock on' which was bush league and Ballin/Watmough fighting over the ball which looked like an actual knock on.

I'd rather he stayed with us but if another club gave him a better opportunity than you couldn't blame him. He's had to deal with plenty of injuries and off field issues and along with that comes the 'prove yourself' stage which Thurlo has never fully passed. The club showed their hand when he was t...

Both Croker and Dugan have this habit of running AWAY from support and rarely linking with a player in space. I think he'll be a good player in a few years but he hasn't locked up the spot at all. Justin Carney and Milne should come into contention soon and hopefully they'll push Croker to a new lev...

Re: 2010 Rd 10 V Storm: Game Day and Post Match
Monaghan proved his class last night. We had the rub of the green in penalties and a Storm outfit that was playing well below their best, and yet we still put in a soft effort with too much dropped ball and our attack continues to play in slow motion. The best single piece of play was Campese's run ...

Did anyone just completely lose it when Campese kicked it straight to a Souths player in the 77-78 minute mark? Not calling for his head but he does this way too much whenever he's running the ball and in two minds.
