Re: Canberra Raiders' Aidan Sezer again linked to Huddersfield Giants

Canberra Raiders’ halfback Aidan Sezer ready to quit NRL for Super League Canberra’s grand final star Aidan Sezer is poised to quit the NRL as early as this week and head to England. While no deal has been signed, it is understood Sezer is preparing to join Super League club Hudders...

Re: Jack Wighton turns down Raiders option to go on open market for 2021

Hasn't proven anywhere near the consistency for 1 mil a season. Will be interesting to see the dynamics next year with Williams. This year we've played most of the season with 2 fullbacks and a 5/8th (sezer). If Williams fills the half void we've sorely missed, will wighton change his game? For the ...

Aidan Sezer is the issue.

George Williams is hopefully the solution.

There I said it. It’s off-season now, let it go. Enjoy your lives for a couple of months!
Love it. But fixed to set expectations.

Re: 2019 Grand Final V Roosters: Game Day

Have been thinking a lot about the match and what 90% of the reports have focused on. The controversial calls really hurt and maybe we would have won with one or more of them going our way but we can't be sure of that. If we removed them from the picture and we still didn't win, we would be easily ...

Re: 2019 Grand Final V Roosters: Game Day

Very gutted. We were the better team on the night but we didn't come away with the trophy. The refs calls didn't help but even with them, we didn't capitalise on our opportunities and that cost us. I'm still proud and I cannot wait to see what the team can produce next year with Williams steering th...

Great read Zippy! I have absolutely no idea how I will handle my emotional state if we win but if we do, I hope we can all share a cheers or two for what seems is a pretty monumental time in a lot of our lives.

6. LUKE KEARY vs JACK WIGHTON

Keary: Run metres: 31, Linebreak assists: 29 Try assists: 28

Wighton: Run metres: 91, Linebreak assists: 13 Try assists: 10

That's an insane difference. Completely different styles. Would almost count Jacko as a second fullback rather than a half on those stats.

Hard to go past Papa or Hodgo, the way they are going in this finals series. Bateman or Wighton are contenders as well.

I would love to see it go to Hodgo. He was really the beginning of this clubs transformation and deserves all of the accolades he can get.

Re: Grand Final tickets

Do they ever advertise post-match celebration locations (if they win..)? For Sydney clubs, it's easy enough to go back to their league clubs but what about for interstate teams? E.g. Melbourne in 2017 or North Queensland in 2015.

Re: 2019 Preliminary Final V Rabbitohs: Fans' Choice Player of the Finals

3. Papalii (Clearly the best player on the field. Wanted the win more than any other player in the game.) 2. Hodgson (Wasn't brilliant in general play, but made some massive plays during the game.) 1. Wighton (Classic Wighton game. Not a great deal of finesse and a few errors, but just ran hard and...

Big favourites at the bookies already (TAB)

1.47 Canberra vs Souths 2.70

Ironically, unbiased opinion, we should easily have this. But supporting and knowing the team, we have some mental preparation to do.

Still confident though - bring it home boys!! :cmon

Very, very well deserved for a third time Big Papa. Like many I questioned how effective he'd be with a permanent transition from the second row where he grapped all his rep spots, but there you have it - I'll know better next time than to doubt the champion. All things remaining constant, he will ...

What a game. And what a post match as well! We were going nuts in the stadium for a good hour! Loved it! One thing that stood out and really annoyed me though is our terrible penalty kicks for touch. Why is it Melbourne averaged 30-40m each penalty and we averaged something ridiculous like 15m? And ...

So I've now digested and calmed down a bit. Yes, the refs were not great but I'm not blaming them. The amount of times we've gotten away with Hodgo being miles offside, can't dwell on the offside intercept. It was also a pretty ridiculous pass to go for. BJ had a shocking game. It got to a point whe...
