We did go after Hynes? The dude lives on a surfboard, he was never coming to Canberra.GreenMachine wrote: ↑March 31, 2023, 6:35 pm Fog is so poor at running the ball …
He cant fool anyone with a show and go..
We got what we paid for when we signed him instead of going for Hynes..

Re: 2023 Rd 4 v Knights: Game Day
We have lost some rough games before but this one was pretty annoying. I think in general we lacked respect for Newcastle. Countless times instead of making the extra pass, our lads thought they could out muscle 2 defenders by themselves and barge their way over the chalk. They were more than up for...

I thought most of the team played great.
Schiller still trying to find the player he was marking sitting in row 2 of the Eastern stand during Ronaldo's try.
Kris was peppered and for the most part did a great job. Some of those kicks from Trindall were enormous.

Re: 2023 Rd 1 v Cowboys: Game Day
Round 1 sloppiness from both teams throughout the game. Cows were unreal with the ball in the first half. We needed to cut 1 or 2 errors out to retain the ball and get the game back into the middle third. Tall ask defending a great team for that long. Our physicality was awesome. Great contact from ...

Eels played so good tonight. The offloads crushed us in the first half, way too much second phase play which sapped us of energy.
Our primary focus next season has to be on our ability to score out wide using structure.
Panthers gonna be hard to beat.

What a guy.
This works for everyone. The team that made the GF is no more and wouldn't cut it now anyway so there's not point staying in CBR rather than being with your kids. Both teams are looking down the barrel of a rebuild.
GG CNK <3, I will miss your amazing try savers from 19/20

Tough ending, clearly a ref blunder. The 6 again rule has caused far too many adjudicating issues for NRL matches since its introduction. Yes, todays scenario won't occur in every NRL game, but it did show that the rule has many flaws and exploits. Somehow, the non-offending team needs to be able to...

Fog had a shocker.
Savage had a super rough night.
Our pack was really **** good, but no strike out back as usual. We really struggle at running a play and scoring in the red zone.

Damn lads, I felt the score should have been a lot closer. Really liked the defense in the first half. Our tactical kicking needs urgent assistance. We can never seem to find grass or create a 50/50 air contest in their redzone. We lacked serious go forward but I credit a lot of that to the Panthers...

I would love to see an 80 minute defensive performance. We need to start with the D and the attack will come.
Hope people in Wagga/travelling down have a blast.

The match went pretty much as I expected. I honestly can't even blame the likes of Rapana for pushed passes because there's nobody in the team creating opportunities otherwise. Frawley is a bizarre selection, regardless of his performance last week. I guess this means he was training at hooker at times. I do think that given the recent trend of HIAs, carrying an extra back on the bench is a good idea, but not a half. I can't get around Semi, great ball runner but that's ab...
