Re: Raiders offer Fogarty new deal to fend off Sea Eagles’ raid
Pretty sure the rules are different in Sanders case as he was upgraded to a development player after the Raiders already had a deal with him in principle. Then he couldn't officially sign until round 5 and they are just lucky he stuck to his word. I don't think there's any official restriction on ne...

Re: Raiders offer Fogarty new deal to fend off Sea Eagles’ raid
The RLPA's argument about an offseason been too short for a player to relocate is an absolute joke. Especially when there is hardly any interstate or intercity movement anyway. Now they have are starting to get some decent assets behind them the NRL needs to have the balls to wear a player strike ne...

Re: Raiders offer Fogarty new deal to fend off Sea Eagles’ raid
Sanders can't outperform Fog from NSW cup. It doesn't work like that. If you look at development generally the best spine players were given a clear path once they were physically ready, they were not made to fight for a spot with aging mid weight players. Of course many of the busts were as well, ...

Re: Raiders offer Fogarty new deal to fend off Sea Eagles’ raid
Fog is decent enough, but the club needs marquee players. That's what Ricky has said, "we are on a journey to create our own marquee players". He isn't talking about Fog, he is talking about Sanders. The club should stick to the plan and signing Fog for two years isn't doing that.

Re: Raiders offer Fogarty new deal to fend off Sea Eagles’ raid
Not a fan of this move at all. Sanders needs to run the show from next year. He shouldn’t have to beat anyone for a spot.

Re: Raiders signing speculation 2025
Another thing on Galvin, we were having this discussion at work I was saying give me Strange every day of the week! But couldn’t see Galvin in any junior Blues Teams or any rep sides, is this correct? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk He was playing us in the NRL three days after U19 origin. Would...

Re: 2025 Round 7 v Titans: Teams and Previews *Teams p1
They shouldn't have skipped the lower grades with Galvin I reckon, its very abnormal as a development path. Even the most boom rookies like Inglis and Hayne had some sort of apprenticeship in senior football. Will be interesting to see how it plays out long term. Galvin will be less ball dominant wh...

Re: Wests Tigers 2025
He’s made clear to all and sundry that he doesn’t trust the club and coach with his development. This isn’t the first time. I suspect it’s a poor cover story, and very tough on the club. The motivation with this manager is always “show me the money”. I suspect Galvin’s been very poorly advised by s...

Re: Wests Tigers 2025
He never really seemed like he wanted to be there long term. Tough break for the Tigers. They have spent a pile buying up other sides established players so hard to feel too sorry for them. Ricky seems to be doing a better job of keeping our guys settled, hopefully that's not just appearances. Maybe...

Re: 2025 Canberra Raiders Junior Representatives
Very frustrating way to lose. Could blame the Ref after that ridiculous final 20 minutes with at least 4 very favourable calls to the Bunnies but they had plenty of chances to win the game as well. I thought Millin, Cannon and Simon were the best. Cowling very good, but maybe took one or two wrong o...
