Re: 2020 Rd 13 V Panthers: Game Day

Scrolled through the pages and didn’t see any comments about the high shot on Croker.

Based on other games this week - Lewis tackle in dogs game was no worse, where was the sin bin?

Re: POLL: Strongest 2020 line up: Centres

Can’t argue with the stats - but without them I would have said Scott over BJ. As for strongest centre pairing, even though he isn’t in the running JB would be pick 1 - played centre for England! On a side note, I’m still bummed BJ didn’t pass to Rapa in the GF and deliver our premiership [emoji26] ...

I think hodgo will go up a gear in 2020 with gwilliams outside him.

Lot more opportunities!

2019 wasn’t his greatest.

Top 4 definitely (barring injury) likely top 2!

Raiders vs eels in Darwin for mine.

A loss that brought back so many bad memories from the last two years!

Re: 2019 Highs and Lows: Best win

I was fortunate enough to attend The Tigers game, both Melbourne games, the Sharks, and the Prelim final.

Week 1 final against storm was the best win.

Prelim final was just relief, but second for me given the reward!

Re: 2019 Preliminary Final V Rabbitohs: Teams and Previews *Teams p1*

This game is a mental clash of the titans inside my head. On one hand we are fresh, hungry, at home, huge crowd against a side who looked very beatable last weekend. I.e objectively we are and should be the favourites and expecting to win. On the other hand I am conditioned for failure, so despite ...

Re: 2019 Preliminary Final V Rabbitohs: Teams and Previews

I’m glad we are playing on Friday night.

Would hate to be playing against Souths if Roosters beat storm.

The. We’d be playing against 15 on the field for 80 mins!

9 hour drive from Sydney for that one.

Well worth it!!!!

Lucky to be in Melbourne for both wins against Cam this year.

Also had the pleasure of seeing Gal off in losing fashion.

GREAT YEAR SO FAR!!!!

Late comment sorry all - 3 hour drive back to Sydney is like that, but seriously WORST Viking clap ever today!

Bring back the arm forces rep. There were so many people laughing it set the tone for a poor performance today!

Re: 2019 Rd 11 V Cowboys: Game Day

I’ve jumped on the thread late after the 3 hour drive back to Sydney last night - so apologies if this has already been said, but Williams was a passenger yesterday. I really thought he would try take the game on in the second half but he rarely took the line on and just seemed content with distrib...

Re: 2019 Rd 2 V Storm: Game Day

Bit hard to chase them when they shell them down the back 3s throat all night Didn't know we had Josh McCrone for a cameo appearance For the first 40/50 odd minutes our strategy was one out forward hitups for 4 tackles which allowed us to be completely dominated in the ruck, which meant we weren't ...

Rapa will be back round 13 so we get the salary cap relief.

He has also played a few games at FB for raiders. Last time in 2015 - there was an article where he said it’s his favoured position.

Re: Preparing for 2019

Look I don’t want to sound too optimistic, but the game last year that Williams got hurt and Sezer had to do everything was probably his best game! Maybe this is what he needs? And we don’t really need to score more points, just defend better and Wighton can tackle. Positionally at FB he has been a ...

I’d say he’s only under pressure from himself. I agree with dubby, he is only gone if he resigns. I’m a sticky fan, and remember when we weren’t competitive before he arrived and freshened our roster. At least now we are right in it every game, we’ve just gotta start closing! I would have liked us to have a go at Ryley Jacks. From the storm system and should be better than Sammy. He won’t get much of a chance at Titans now with Tyrone Roberts back.

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2019

I’d love to see Edwards at FB for Raiders.

What does everyone think of Cotric to centre and Crocker to wing if Edwards arrives? Played an amazing half game there last year!
