Re: Ricky Stuart says he'll fight proposal to strip competition points from opening rounds

This is truly a whacked out time in league. Nothing happening on the field so the crazies come out in the media , whoever has a voice is throwing their 2 bobs out there. They will have 100s of scenerios the way the league will look once we get going again, which is getting earlier every day. Im not ...

Re: Canberra Raiders prepare for tough times after NRL season suspension

There is no reason the comp cant be restarted by July or before if we keep going along the path that we are. Obviously they will have to follow all the safety and isolation protocols. Warriors will be the tricky one , unless they can get a clearance from both governments

Re: The most underrated Raiders of all time

Scott Logan was massive for us. Very underrated outside our club
Colin Best was another. His stint with us was great. How he burned Gasnier when we played the Dragons was legendary

Re: Canberra Raiders prepare for tough times after NRL season suspension

I'm worried about the beer supply. After this case, and another case, there's only one case left. You dont need to worry. Its still being produced . Say we win the shortened premiership. How would we feel about it? It would be like winning the comp during the split. It wouldn't feel the same . Knig...

After talking to the Bio Hazard experts I think it's time we suspend the comp.
Safety of my squad is paramount and for that reason I request the comp is stopped.

Re: NRL set to suspend 2020 competition due to coronavirus

I dont think the NRL will let clubs die. Not through this. They will do their best to keep clubs afloat As Todd said there is going to be a reset . Wages , salary cap etc is going to be much lower once this is over According to V’landys last week, the NRL has 12 weeks of cash until they go broke wi...

Re: NRL set to suspend 2020 competition due to coronavirus

How can they , this is a ever changing beast. I was suprised the AFL were talking around dates or a 17 comp starting x date.

Hopefully this country gets on top of it and we can all return to normal lives.

Re: Domestic travel restrictions add further turmoil to NRL and Canberra Raiders seasons

Somebody want to tell me why someone on the Gold Coast is still allowed to jump in their car and drive here? Surely that’s going to spread the virus more than me going to a cafe in an area that is coronavirus-free? The restrictions are stupid, they need to lock down the areas that have the virus an...

This game may not go ahead yet. Warriors are having a meeting today to decide if they are staying. The plan was to have family fly over whilst they stayed out here , they cant come anymore with the border locked down. https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/sport/412182/warriors-future-in-nrl-to-be-discussed-today

Hearing Friday, potential full hearing in July, police seeking a report from an expert in weapons training to see if police actions warranted.
If they are doing that then they have no confidence in their own procedures.

Scott's lawyer could go to town on them

Re: All NRL games from Round 2 to be played without fans due to coronavirus

I also see the NRL as a job for the players and many more.
I still have to work , many of us are all still working . The players should continue to work whilst taking all the precautions and necessary health advice.
The players can self isolate like the rest of us can. Life has to go on.

Dufty has speed. That's it. He is small and gets monstered in every tackle. It would be better sticking with Lomax for the long run. Maybe the new coach will do it when Mary gets punted in a few weeks LimeGreenMachines will go into the 2nd week without a halfback. Hopefully Api repeats himself this ...

Re: 2020 Rd 1 V Titans: Game Day

Im really impressed with our new recruits. Scott and George were excellent for a first hit out. George's defence was spot on as was Scotts. If that is our base for the year we are going to be in the mix again. It takes some luck to get to the GF with injuries etc but we will put ourselves into a pos...

Oldy in 17 a bit of a surprise but corresponds with Simo's selection on the bench late last year. Agree it does but we didnt early in the season and I didnt think we would this year. We have big minute players but like everyone they are short of a gallop so I thought and extra forward on the bench ...
