Re: 2023 Rd 10 v Bulldogs: Game Day

Which “Broncos” one are we talking about exactly? I watched Annesley today… agree with him for a change that the penalty try awarded to the Broncos was a penalty try (the consequence of the push on Farnworth very clear on the alternative angle)… and the Walsh shoulder charge is not a penalty try. I...

Re: 2023 Rd 10 v Bulldogs: Game Day

The interpretation is you just imagine the player isn’t there these days? Can’t recall seeing it applied like that before.

Does that apply if a 1 on 1 tackle nearish the try line gets the player high? Unless someone close enough then it should be a penalty try?

Re: 2023 Rd 10 v Bulldogs: Game Day

Has the interpretation for penalty try changed or something? Guy checked his run to catch it, was 4-5 metres out and a guy on him and people are certain he would have scored if the tackle was half a second later?

Isn’t that just a professional foul?

Re: 2023 Rd 1 v Cowboys: Game Day

Did CHN actually play lock? Could have sworn he was mainly playing on the right with Whitehead mainly playing middle/lock? Whitehead definitely played lock for the majority of the game. They switched for a small period but CHN was out on the right for most of it (while he wasn’t out in centres or o...

Re: 2022 Rd 24 V Sea Eagles: Game Day

So with results from last night, should we make the finals I think the only side we couldn’t play is the eels.
Melbourne win and winner of south’s storm will be 5th, Eels win and storm will be 5th.

I’m staying at the same hotel as the roosters players.
I’ll be amazed if jake friend plays, fair old limp he is carrying around. Don’t imagine calf’s are that kind.

Re: Grand Final tickets

What does the member code get access for before the cutoff tomorrow? The raiders Email is confusing me - is this supporters bay access?

I can access other tickets without a code now.

Re: Croker's kicking

The way he was lining up those kicks at the right post I’m certain he was trying to fade them over.

His reaction and disgust supports that, definitely a technical thing. Hitting pull draws from there is a concern.

I have a feeling tapine is looking at a few weeks out again. He came out of a tackle clutching at his shoulder/pec and went off instantly.

Re: 2019 Rd 8 V Panthers: Game Day

One takeaway from the game for me was extra forward support and ball movement this week. Sutton in particular looked to be working well in pairs and passes before the line quite a bit.

More of that please.

I never said any such thing. We’re discussing your bizarre world where playing to the whistle gets you 10 in the bin. But please feel free to lash about for any sane grounding to try and argue from. I’m going to go do something productive with my day now. I think it’s pretty clear you’re well beyon...

Sticky to step up into head of football and his good mate Barrett to waltz on in to the raiders gig.

Re: 2018 Rd 14 V Panthers: Game Day

To be honest, I can see the logic in putting Hingano on the wing rather than shifting Croker or cotric over.
Having two makeshift edges is potentially more damaging than one poor one.

Re: Stand down Stuart

I think the frustration we are seeing in the press conference and through the players regarding the refs is stemming from the ruck interpretations. Sure the odd howler happens to every team but I can't remember too many this year which are that bad. Last year we won a lot of penalties through hard p...
