Rick has coached a lot of NRL games (just ask him).
But his win % is dead on 50% over all that time. From a mathematical point of view - would we be any worse off with a plank of wood in the coach’s chair?

It’s doubling down on the contract error by then also making him captain for 2024. These are exactly the kind of situations the club were always going to create for themselves by offering these unnecessarily bloated contracts to the likes of Whitehead and Croker. I’m nowhere near as confident as everyone on here. The Tigers have a pretty good pack and bench forward rotation. They have far and away the best spine player in the game. Korisau could genuinely be the difference in a game like this. Koroisau at his best, no doubt. He seems like he’s just going th...

Go Raiders.
Not fussed about the score, just looking to see maintenance of the high standards set last week.
If this is one of those sloppy efforts we so often produce at home on the back of a tough grinding win on the road, it’s going to feel a lot like deja vu

Ask Jaeman Salmon about Rick’s ability to hold a petty grudge, for a decade if necessary! If you knew the story about the Salmon grudge, you would realise that it is all about loyalty to family. Ask Jaeman Salmon about Rick’s ability to hold a petty grudge, for a decade if necessary! Define petty? For emotional abuse to a family member? Would that be classed as petty in your book? I think one thing this shows is that Ricky Stuart is faultlessly a man of his word, and it is unbreakable. Only problem is, last year when he promised Hoppa he wouldn't lose his place in the team if he went to his sister's wedding it appears he's taken it all too literally. In 2038 Hoppa will be th...

If you have a look at Rapanas try on the weekend, all set up from Stranges footwork. The little quick skip makes the defender (Gamble) come in and create the overlap. Savage’s finish for his try last week showed you why he has to be in the side. Every single week. Whatever the petty reasons were that saw him excluded for last year cannot counter that pure speed and attacking instinct utilised to convert a half chance. In a side that barely creates clear-cut attac...

You’re saying Elliott Whitehead walks straight back into the team that won so convincingly last night? On what basis? This chat prompted me to go back and look at Best’s record - 261 NRL games! (Plus another 60 in England mid-career). That’s exceptional just from a longevity point of view.
You’d argue we got some of his better years too.
