Re: Ex Raiders... where are they now?

Oof, that Aaron Bower (?) really knows his stuff, what a good judge. I'm sure most people have heard of him :? :nooo Well known NRL reporting site Fox sports describes Schneider’s performance as excellent. And I only said very very good…. Re: Through green eyes 2024

That is an interesting read. Jordy has had a great NRL career based on natural ability. You could question whether he’d be even better had he been an elite trainer or committed in the weights room - I’d suggest no. If you contrast him with HSS and Cotric you see two other players that had promising ...

Re: Concussion guinea pigs: Raiders sign on to test mouthguard technology

No, because the data is downloaded at half time and full time. The technology has been tested for in game use in union but it’s not yet proved reliable for real time detection. Is that because the tackles aren’t hard enough in union? Thats good news there is no risk of disadvantage and good o...

This may be controversial and I’m not saying it as a reaction to the article or Parker’s commentary but I always thought he was overrated as a player. I know, I know, he has an incredible record, 340+ games, heaps for QLD and Australia, several individual awards, I know. He was definitely a good pl...

I remember a game in the early 2000's, we were playing Brisbane. Alan Tongue took Parker's legs out and Parker literally flipped upside down in mid air and landed on his head. Re: Canberra Raiders miss out on David Fifita

I reckon Fifita would be the best second rower in the comp again pretty quickly if he was playing off the back of a middle rotation of Papa, Tapine, Ata, Horse and Mooney. That seriously is the highest ceiling Raiders middle rotation I remember since the 90's. He would still be a great signing. Pre...

Some of the analysis on our best wing options that is occurring here is quite outstanding but the credibility of it all is a little shaky when it is being put forward by folks who until recently were vehemently defending Crabtric position in the team.

Next year we will have Whitehead (estimated $600,000), Cotric ($600,000), Rapana ($500,000) coming off contract and do t look like being resigned. Coupled with the potential medical retirement of CHN. I would have thought there’s enough to sign both Fifita and a decent hooker. Given we may potentia...
