Re: 2024 Round 5 v Eels: Game Day
Well if he stayed then maybe we’d be last… him leaving did cause the rebuild penny drop… But it’s another data point to add to show the coach is far from always right. That offer to Jack was horrific. Just imagine how much of a black hole the coach would have sunk us into had he handed over $4.8M f...

Enjoy being last and 300k poorer for it I think he ended up going for $700K, turning down our $1.2mill. So even poorer still! Ooft. I had a few thoughts on the game and that was one of them. The other was how cool it would be to watch the game from the above apartments with radio commentary.Seiffert82 wrote: ↑April 1, 2024, 2:10 pmThat's it in a nutshell.-PJ- wrote:Pretty simple game Rugby League.

Re: 2024 Round 3 v Warriors: Game Day
I was big on Nic Cotric and had him pencilled in a wing spot for 2024 but he needs to go. He is too slow to be a winger. I am not marking him down for the dropped ball but his lack of pace, athleticism and involvement means he's no longer a walk up start to FG. We saw the decline in Josh Mansour. I...

Braith's arguing feels very contrived and it's embarrassing. It's very unnatural and I still can't believe they picked him to host. Ikin and Kent were are entertaining combination of brain and bonehead, now it's skewed towards the latter is almost unwatchable. Yvonne or Cronk should replace Braith a...

Re: 2024 Canberra Raiders alternate jersey
I think after a while no matter what, keeping a consistent home and away jersey might not be viable for them. They should make the home jersey consistent and traditional, the away jersey should be retro inspired by old merch (say the training shirt we have this year), and make the alternate modern.

Re: 2024 Canberra Raiders alternate jersey
The reason the jersey looks so weird is because they've just plonked it on our normal shorts and socks. Navy Shorts in the same colour with similar coloured socks would improve it so much. But. Good on em'. Don't care what they do with the alternate.

Gross!!!! What's with that green? What are we the Irish Rugby team now? Why is the logo in colour when the rest of jersey is monochrome??? Why do I have such fond memories of Albert Fulavai? I was 8 years old in '94 and I'm not joking that he is/was my favorite player. The Prince was an outstanding rugby player for Darra but had a dodgy knee or two by the time he came by across to the raiders. He was handy but never reached his potent...

I hope they don't make Lockyer an Immortal. He's the same level as Loz and Freddie, which is the top eschalot of the HOF but not quite there.
Only two past Joey; Smith for sure, and maybe Slater. I used to think Thurston was a lock, gone off it for some reason, maybe it's his commentating career.

Re: 2024 Canberra Raiders jerseys
A monochrome logo would stand out more on the jersey, and it'd make the whole kit even more of a stereotype of generic late 2010s sports branding and design. It really shouldn't be hard for the club to come up with solid new designs that are logical variations on the theme of the club's traditional...

I love the new logo, but only in comparison to the logo it's evolved from. It's easily the best version of the logo we instated in the year 2000. I don't think it's possible for us to design a better logo. No matter what it is, a new design will always be polarising and controversial. We just need t...

Is Ricky Stuart the person to lead us to another premiership?
I'm not disrespecting the club but the club hasn't made it past week 1 of finals without Ricky as a player or coach. He's been quite influential for the club. Particularly any of its on field success. That’s straight up not true. 1987 - made the GF. No Ricky 2000 - week 2 of finals. No Ricky 2003 -...

Wait this is our 4th rebuild under Stuart? As far as I'm concerned we are about to embark on our 2nd? Our 1st being when he took us from arguably the lowest point in the club's history to a prelim in 3 years, then a GF in 6. Yes it's been 5 finals appearances in his tenure, but 4 out of those 5 have...

Jack Wighton to join South Sydney Rabbitohs in 2024
Truely abhorrent for Jack to bite young Tyson Gamble today. The NRL needs to make an example of Jack that we will not stand for biting, it’s needs to be stamped out of our game immediately. 6 weeks minimum.

He’ll find form next year and kill it.
Broncos capitulated last year and look at em’ now.
The Rabbitohs had there best player out for 2 months. They had too much ground to make up once Latrell got back. Sam Burgess is right twat who was leaving anyway.

Jack Wighton to join South Sydney Rabbitohs in 2024
I thought the whole thing was a bit over the top really It was a very Raiders production. First you had Croker who was understandbly looking a bit embarassed after being hung out by Stick with a 2 minute cameo when the result was beyond doubt. Then for some reason we had Wighton speaking first, who...
