Re: Living in the capital hurting our recruitment
Put it this way, if I had a choice of living anywhere where an NRL team plays, I'm probably listing Canberra as 15th. And I **** love Canberra. NRL players live a very different lifestyle to the rest of us mortals, they train and then they have lots of free time in the afternoon. All I ever see of ...

Re: Ricky Stuart planning a Canberra Raiders roster ‘clean out’
If we let Jack go, as well as Croker and a few of the others that are being proposed, we'll have 3 quarters of a salary cap to use... And we still won't be able to bring in anyone half decent.

Re: Coaching issues
Another good indicator of how poorly we are going is the Dally M points. Dally M points can be one of those things where, if you lose a close one, your players can end up pulling some decent Dally M points in a losing side still. This just goes to show that when we do lose it's not even close, even...

Feel bad for Wighton, without Ricky he could have been anything.
Although at the same time, without Ricky he could also be in jail / unemployed as an NRL player.

Oh get ****, how did I miss this.
I've legitimately seen Guler play half a dozen good games in his life. Barely any ability to bend the line, can't offload for **** and his defence his average.

Would be a big fan of this. Slot him into the bench utility player, he's good cover. Would suit being a 13 for a period of a game. As long as we don't overpay

Kokomos is great until about 8PM. Trendy club that does really good food, becomes a nightclub later on the attracts an older crowd than Moose etc, but not a good crowd seemingly.

Re: Canberra Raiders wild cards in race for Matt Dufty
This signing STINKS in my opinion. He's a Dragons reject, they don't want him! Why should we? This is Curtis Scott v2.0 written all over it. At 83kgs, not sure Duffman is squaring up to too many blokes There's something clearly off about him though... even though he's always looked the goods, McGre...

I'd prefer we suck on purpose next year in order to leave us stronger in 2-3 years time. If we continue holding onto hope that we can win a premiership, we're **** ourselves up for 5+ years.

Re: 2022 New halfback?
I'd absolutely be on board for Luke Brooks. Why you ask? Well I'm glad you asked. He's better than the alternative. He's better than the juniors coming through. He's better than anyone else we can get in next year. Unless B Schnid can prove he is a starting halfback next year, what do we have to lose?

It'll be much better to suck, when we know we should suck. Sucking when we should be doing better sucks.
