We've had our destiny in our own hands a few times this year already. They know the equation each time they play...need to win, but end up imploding and losing the unloseable. How many times has Boydy emptied the tank since his statement pre St George ? :roflmao :roflmao :roflmao :roflmao :roflmao ...

Re: Tight loses, are we actually learning anything?
Since our big run last year we have lost 5 of 5 tight games, im talking about games that can be won or lost in the last play of the game. Re: Our rep players
When I look at that list, I see a lot of City and Country references... a match that isn't even going to exist after this year. What it highlights for me is how deserving players are being overlooked. Even players that win Dally M positional awards are simply not rated by representative coaches and...

Being 34 this year i was very young during our glory days, i know our glory days all too well but it came more through later viewings and diluted memory's of a child rather then solid first hand in depth understanding of rugby league. I really grasped rugby league well in 96 onwards. So my strongest...

Re: 2017 Rd 5 V Eels: Fans' Choice Player of the Year
Papalii ran for nearly as much and he's an edge forward. 200+ metres isn't a rare thing for fullbacks. He had a good game and deserves some points but that's absolutely not the best performance by a raider this year. Not sure it would even be top 10 Most of his runs were as a forward, it wasn't off...

Whighton 3 Papalli 2 Rapana 1 I know this is each individuals opinion but the GH moderators need to step in and just give whighton the 3 points. The amount of peanuts that have him with 1 or no points is amazing. He ran for 236 m, every big time run was provided by him . It was the best performance ...

Re: 2016 Four Nations Rd 1: Teams and Game Day
Whitehead looks ok but nothing great yet, i would say hes not had a chance to do much.
Rapana looks tierd, he looked tierd against aus too. Hes a good player but he needs a break.
Hodgson is elite now. He gets every forward 1 on 1 and just owns the ruck. He is top 10 in the world for sure now

Why is nobody talking about the prospect of a friday night prelim final. If we're being serious it would take a monumental choke for us to not finish in the top 4 of this competition. 3. 32 - Bulldogs 4. 31 - Raiders * 5. 28 - Cowboys 6. 28 - Broncos * game in hand We're 3 points clear without even playing this week. If we win tomorrow it's a lay down misere, but even i...

SO whats the deal with home finals this year? If we finish top 4 but lose in week 1 do we get a home semi against a winning team from the knock out finals? Yep. But if we finish 3rd and win week one I believe we get a week 3 Home final at the SFS. So in theory could be playing Melbourne there. Corr...

Re: The run home. We need 4 of 5 for top 4
History shows you need a minimum of 34 points to make the 4 .. for us that means 35 .. which means we need 3 wins from the next five games. Ain't going to easy. Still not the end of it if we finish 5th. Yeah i had a look at the history books and i think 35 is the mark ( 3 wins ) but both teams are ...

5th would be ok but we would be away after 1 week rather then playing for a home preliminary final or week 2 at home.

After another great performance its fair to say its time to start dreaming. Experts always talk about premiership windows and I think (I have all year) that ours is well and truly open. We now have three years for mine (16, 17,18) to take our chance. We now know that we must win 4 of our last 5 game...

All three of the last trys were because we waited for them to come to us. There was no play the ball or quick tap on shillos try , it was just laziness. The last 2 trys were brenko lee and whitehead standing on our own line. No great team defends at their own line. The eels moved forward all game un...

Raiders players and fans using the wrong excuse

Thats all rubbish Here are some stats from the eels and the raiders over the weekend that i couldnt help but compare as i wat...
