They are both massive inclusions, but we don't win this game if Hodgson doesn't suit up. Semi finals come down to a few moments, and you need your best players making those clutch decisions. Given we only lost by two points last week - I would say losing Hodgson lost us the game for sure. Our main ...

Re: Putting $100 on the Panthers
If we win, I'll be so elated I won't miss the cash at all. If we lose, I can drown my sorrows courtesy of booze supplied by the TAB. Now I'm not a big gambler, so $100 feels like a lot of cash! I can cop making a prelim and losing, I'd still see that as a great achievement. But if we lose this I'll...

Fox Sports' Late Mail article suggests Austin is playing this weekend: Blake Austin’s broken hand has responded well to Wednesday evening’s training run and the Raiders No. 6 is set to take his place in Saturday’s sudden death showdown with Penrith. In consultation with Canberra’s medical staff, Au...

The media all jumping on board the Panthers. Sportsbet holding their nerve with us as favorite I'm hoping the media keep along this line of thought. I like it best when everyone writes us off. Seems to galvanise the squad. Gee we played with a lot of heart last week but we really were gassed after ...

I reckon hell play too. Doubt he'd make it through the full 80 though. Ricky may even start Baptiste to keep him out of the fireworks early.

Hodgson left the ground on Saturday wearing a moon boot but was walking freely around the Green Machine's training base on Monday. "It's a good sign," said winger Edrick Lee. "We've just got to see how he goes through the week and if he pulls through. "If he's unfortunate enough ...

Re: 2016 Finals Wk 2 V Panthers: Teams and Previews
This game will be very tight and one team will emerge with a slender victory. I think a wet track suits us more than them due to our forwards being the more dominant on paper and having that grinding game v sharks. I'd like to see Soliola play more minutes. He leads our line speed. Without him, we t...

Being in a CAM boot is just best practice after an ankle injury so i wouldn't read too much into that. Hodgson's foot will be the size of a watermelon today. In that position ATFL and CFL are put on significant stretch. Have to hope for no # or grade 3 ligament damage. Plenty of icing and pressure t...

Re: 2016 Finals Wk 1 V Sharks: Game Day
Finals football poses questions to players and they decide whether they are going to be a winner or a loser. Unfortunately a lot of our players were put under pressure and made the choice to be a loser (Lee, Baptiste, Sezer for eg). I think Vaughan needed to play that game and our bench rotation was...

I am a Physio so i'll have a guess at whats going on. I like Sammy but I think he can only be our back-up half these days. Just lacks a bit of game management and a running game. Great fill in if we have an injury though. If he decides to leave we can slot Croker or Hodgson in.

Weather should be fine come game time. Only 5-10% chance of rain. Surface will be slippery though. A real litmus test tonight. Great that we won the game from that position. Showed great character. Our line speed in defence was awesome in that last 20. I think Baptiste coming on really changed the game. Had some time to digest the game. I think in all honesty we got away with it in our first 3 games. Those could have been losses too. We seem to make so many errors late in a game. Dropped balls, penalties, missed tackles, kicking the ball for a 7 tackle reset. Nobody with the exception of sezer in t...
