This is great news. I was so impressed by him last year, he's been playing really well and he cleaned the dirty stuff out of his game.

I was prepared to give the benefit of the doubt to the "home" jersey, but after watching the trial today, nah. It sucks ass. Hope we wear the heritage all season.

Re: 2021 Trial V Roosters: Teams and Game Day *Teams p1*
Pretty encouraging performance all up. The first half was a decent standard of footy given the heat and the first run of the year. In terms of the positions which remain up for grabs I'm not sure we learnt too much. As hrundi says all of the guys vying for a spot in the centres showed glimpses, tho...

The result is whatever at this stage. So far I'm liking what I'm seeing in terms of the fitness and form of our forward pack. Nobody came back fat, that's for sure.

All I'm really hoping for is that someone lines up Suaalii and gives him an appropriate, legal welcome to the big time...and if its big Horse taking his frustrations out , well that's icing on the cake. Let's be honest, nobody in this thread picked that HSS would be that someone. It was delightful ...

Raiders Members Day Saturday 6 February at West Belconnen. Restricted to 500 people due to COVID restrictions. No cost but need to reserve a place. Already reserved for me. Trying to figure out what's going on with the towel in the fancy blue faux-leather pouch. But I like that the main part of the...

Stuart and Toots will have to have a few frank conversations over the offseason. He's really struggling out there, Darius Boyd level. And I've backed Croker for years. That's a ****ing insult right there and you take it back right now. Croker may have struggled, but he's STILL TRYING. Boyd complete...

Of course people are slamming on Croker. Yeah, he missed that one tackle which was not great, but he was okay in defense otherwise I thought. And at least him and Valemei looked like they were communicating and at least trying in attack. I was absolutely disgusted with Bateman, Cotric and Rapana. Th...

i cant believe Bulldogs didnt jump on him, he is exactly what Bulldogs need. I really like him as a player but I don't think his defence is quite up to standard for a week-to-week NRL player. Really unfortunate because just about every other aspect of his game is very good. Sent from my SM-G570F us...

Finally, some Hudson River jokes.
He's definitely matured a lot and hats off to him.
If you're looking for a place to watch the game, well, Gungahlin Raiders is booked out. (I booked my table for this Friday as I was leaving last Friday because I figured it would happen

I'm very happy for him, he well deserves to be a leading half somewhere. He's a good and loyal Raider and, well, if he finds himself homesick...I'm sure there'll always be a spot of some kind - whether as a player or a coach - for him here.

I'm so incredibly nervous. But I really think we can do this. Nobody thought we could do it in July either, and we were in a much worse position.
Win or lose, I am really proud of the boys. Getting this far, in a season with this many injuries...but wouldn't it be sweet if we could go all the way?

I got tickets no problems. Figured there was about 25k max Roosters supporters at the Grand Final, so it would be surprising to have more than 15k of them turning up to this game after 2 losses. One thing the NRL will have to look at is the stoppage of play when a player goes down. I know it is to protect the health of players, but it is being used as a tactic to slow momentum imo. Courage play of the night to JC. He has taken a conversion so was last into position.
