Re: Corey Harawira-Naera reportedly on the Raiders radar

It should be. And the reaction of rugby league fans is only further proof. A massively male fanbase doesn't want to talk about power imbalances, or the creepiness of a grown man going after a schoolgirl (oh, what will they watch for porn then!), or the inherent wrongness of deliberately seeking out ...

NO.

EDIT

We are talking about EDIT STILL IN SCHOOL (and don't give me that **** about "oh he met her outside the school" THAT'S NOT THE ****ING POINT). He fails every part of the "no ****" policy. It would be a PR disaster and one we should avoid at all costs.

Re: Canberra Raiders coach Ricky Stuart calls for NRL to take axe to error-prone bunker

ILess sympathy for touchies getting it wrong as their role hasn't changed much and if anything they should be stepping up to help out the guy in the middle more. A lot of the touchies are actually former on-field refs. Perenara was one of the touchies at our Dragons game for example. Quite a few of...

Re: Josh Hodgson and Bailey Simonsson ruled out for 2020 season

Ricky said straight after the game that Tommy Starling was our backup 9. What little we have seen of him, he is a diminutive, very fit, jack rabbit type 9 - a poorest mans Cook, if you will. Given we are still short on middles, I think Havili will have to play a bit of 9 and a bit of middle going f...

Re: Canberra Raiders coach Ricky Stuart calls for NRL to take axe to error-prone bunker

I would love to give it a go and see just how hard it is to not make howlers... I do think it’d be a lot harder than the we, the fans, and the commentators think. I am as far away from being a “refs faulter” as possible, and I would usually agree - but the howler on Saturday night was one of those ...

The bunker should stay, but there needs to be a complete cleanout of bunker officials, refs, and the ref boss. The boys' club has gone beyond a joke.

We're going to be close to having to bring Scott back no matter what kind of form he's in, we're running short of backs. Not sure throwing Harley Smith-Shields to the wolves of the Roosters is a good idea.

I presume he’ll be used as a lock for 15-20 mins as it’s a tough ask for Hudson Young to play 80 and alternate between the edge and middle. Hudson played 80 last week, though I don't know if that was always the plan or if it just got that way due to the problems. I hope Kai has a good debut! It's a...

I sort of liked him off the bench last night. Of course, difficult to measure his full impact in a game where we were ruined by injury. But he did seem to have more of an impact. I think we should try him in the 14 for a while, maybe he picks up some confidence.
