Re: The Motorsport Thread
Zim, I reckon the 'let 'em race' practice is best. No question then of 'rigging' results, simply best driver and car wins. I agree as a spectator I'd rather just see them go at it. I'm not entirely across all the rules for rigged results but as far as teams picking a number 1 driver and car they're...

Re: The Motorsport Thread
I was discussing that with my partner when we were walking home from race day. I think all Piastri is lacking is a bit of maturity. She was telling me I need to be more patient with F1 driver development than NRL player development 😁. He either ends up number 1 at McLaren during the next few years o...

Re: The Motorsport Thread
Piastri is always giving that spot up because he's the number 2 driver in the number 2 car. Some teams like Ferrari "let em race" on occasion. McLaren don't. All their top tier work goes into giving Lando Norris the best chance this season. One of the most extreme driver 1 vs driver 2 exam...

Go with Robson if you want to hit runs now. Go with Brailey if you want to roll the dice but also think we've got something at the club already. To me JMK fits somewhere in between the 2.

No charge from May Thankfully common sense has been applied. It's unfortunate but it shouldn't have even been a penalty. Accident or not, head clash or not. You shouldn’t be allowed to make forceful contact with the head. Zero attempt at a proper tackle there. Yep, just reckless. We've seen that pe...

Whatever kick training he did over the off season we need to bottle it and pass it along to everyone that comes through the system.

Honest question - after he has officially dropped out of the squad, how is Ata behind Guler and Saulo in our depth chart? I'm obviously just a fan but I have legitimately seen no evidence to say either are better footballers than he is. In fact I'd go as far as to say he is clearly better than both...

How nice is it to see the Knights imploding early doors. Apparently Hasting went home after being dropped rather than training with NSW Cup. Honestly, they lose Ponga and they are spooners. Knew the Whitehead thing was happening but I’m disappointed that Mariota drops out. He’s our best young prop imo. And what he did at second row as cover on the weekend speaks volumes about his adaptability as a player. That’s what I’m annoyed at. He needs to be treated better, as does Mooney. Yeah ...

As far as I know we have Fog until end 2026, right? Strange has blown the gates open in the halves. He's bolted. It's made Weekes immediately second fiddle - and he didn't come here to play Reggies. The Fog has been (and is) excellent. The absolute joy i'm getting in the reality marrying my percept...

They got a bit of a workover this week by a good Penrith cup side. We won't have to be worried about any misconceptions Sanders might have about how much hard work is required to make the next step up.
We have them in round 5 at home.

This might be a good game for Hudson Young to stand up and show a little something. I think his back end of last year was disappointing and so far this year, albeit a small sample size he's not having the impact we'd expect from a bloke who's played SOO footy and is paid at his level. Would love to...

3 Fogarty
2 Hosking
1 Strange
I think if Kris stays on the field he is right up there and he drags Savage along with him. Those 2 were fantastic in the first half.
