Re: 2020 Highs and Lows: Try of the Year
This has to be one of your more stupid lines of having a dig at an opinion. Obviously that's not all they do because they are involved in a lot of tries they don't just finish off, which just proves how **** stupid your reasoning is here. To top if off this is NRL.com's list of our top tries. The ru...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2020
If this season has a lesson for centres it's that it doesn't matter that you're all terrible defenders. Just give us some highlights.

Yeah nothing screams try of the year like a winger or centre falling over the line.

Re: 2020 State of Origin I - Teams and Game Day
Wighton and JAC were on the left last year but looks like they've moved them for Tupou and Gutho who are also left siders. Wighton was on the right for Australia IIRC. Unless these jersey numbers mean nothing. If they do have Wighton on the right I think they've missed a trick. Keary between Cordner...

Re: The Politics Thread 2020
You can have your doubts all you want, I'm telling you how it is. This is the crux of it. There's a lot of worry about the process because of the democrats historical **** up, but all the indicators are heavily in their favour. A lot of the idiots that were on the "it doesn't matter who you el...

Re: Off contract Raiders... who to retain, who to release?
Nami would be crazy not to maximize his earnings for his "last contract". Either at another club or in the super league. He's spent so much of his career with journey man deals. Guler (who is only 22) has plenty of improvement left in him and his peaks in 2019 already looked very promising...

Excellent defense by the storm. Big choke by the panthers. Would have been a farce if they came back and won it.

Interesting to see if the Maroons end up with the Lee connection on one side. Crazy to think Brenko has now got a prem and could be an origin player all after starting the year without a proper contract.

Awesome stuff. It won't happen but if you started him and pappa they'd feed off each other. Nami would probably give you the best 20mins of his career.

Re: Team for next year
Kai O'Donnell is listed as a second rower. Not sure if he'd actually turn out there in first grade. Really looks like a lock. His best position is in the back row but his job this year was to give us some minutes up the middle. We are ok for young forwards going forward. Most of you don’t know the ...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2020
Naden would be worth a punt if you're watching your pennies and not wanting to block your juniors. He's got genuine pace.
But if you're expecting a complete player we'll be talking about his defence pretty early on.

The Roosters get knocked out in Week 2 and the immediately make tough calls on their squad. The Raiders need to be as ruthless. I agree. What ruthless decisions would you personally make? What about you other forum members? I’d be shipping Croker, Rapana and Scott. Promote Timoko in front of Valeme...

Re: Team for next year
Yeah I agree you need some ruthlessness but your first graders are pretty much guaranteed to start the year if you've got a stable system with a long term coach. In Whare's case he played the first 7 rounds. I think if we have a poor first month you'll see some changes. There's just too much depth t...

Re: Team for next year
I don't think it's just about "bigger contracts". It's also about experience. He has a history of favouring first graders out of position instead of bringing in juniors. The best thing about those young guys in 2021 is they are a legitimate threat. Ricky can drop players as he has done in ...
