Re: Canberra Raiders sign Matt Frawley to development contract
interesting that a lot of you seem to think that development stops at a certain age. If no club wishes to sign a player then it is obvious that they need to continue to develop their game in order to obtain a contract. Regardless of their age. Its not a junior development contract which would possi...

Yeah even in context you'd think this would have been a big contract for him.

Re: Canberra Raiders reportedly interested in signing Matt Frawley
Hingano has got a new contract and he's on our development list. You can check out the full list here: https://thegh.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5023 Development player? Man, that's rough. I'm guessing that with his history of injuries, other NRL sides are wary of signing him. Nice work by the...

Certainly a step down. He'd be hoping for a mostly injury free year to finally put together some consistent performances.
Must be a good trainer and well liked to be held on to.

Re: 2019 State of Origin I: Queensland V New South Wales
Your proof is an article where Fitler refutes the claim... Josh Addo-Carr seems to be doing just fine. Latrell and Walker were defending next to each other. You don't think it's odd that the worst communication and issues were between those 2? Seems much more likely Fitler doesn't have time for ****...

Good to see this thread back where it belongs. Here's me getting ready to go out to a Harry Potter themed dinner the other night. He's not better than Williams. Well, I wouldn't pick him over Williams. If your criteria is simply who is the better defender for 1 game he might get picked. But if we're looking at someone to come in to play a proper role it'd be Williams every day.

Re: POLL: Canberra Raiders 2010s Team of the Decade: Five eighth
I think you need to pick people where they played otherwise the poll wouldn't be split up on position. It'd just be "name your best 17", and that opens a whole new can of worms.

Re: Canberra Raiders reportedly interested in signing Matt Frawley
That would be a confusing signing. With Sam and Hingano already on the books, and Donny saying our recruitment is done. Do we really need more halves depth?
I guess it'd only be min wage. We're not really lacking for depth anywhere really.

Re: NRL announces rule changes for scrums, trainers, 20/40 kick, endorses challenge system
I don’t mind the 20/40. I don’t see it as being introduced to negate good defensive sets, I see it as a tactical option. Scrum on the 20, down by 8 with 5 minutes left? Try a 20/40. Combine that with being able to move the scrum to the middle of the field to open both sides up and we might see it s...

Re: NRL announces rule changes for scrums, trainers, 20/40 kick, endorses challenge system
I'm not a fan of the 20/40 at all. The defensive team has put in a great kick and defended really well for 5 tackles only to have that entire effort taken away by 1 play.
