Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2020

I don't think either would be available to us, but Crichton and Naden both looked very good last night. Especially Crichton, he is a star. I like Staggs too, he would also be a great get. I hope we sign a player who can play somewhere from 1-5 but if we ended up with CNK, Simonnson, Croker, Scott, ...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2020

I’d be making some calls to Katoa.

Good ball returner, good finisher, coming off contract and wouldn’t cost the world.

Great news gerg, that’s a good place to be. Good to hear your getting some running in Doc, UTA is looking pretty sketchy with the event numbers capped at 500 until at least September 30. I’m training up hard, pulling off 100k weeks now still aiming to be ready for UTA. If that doesn’t go ahead and ...

Great points Doc. I guess what I was getting at is I see NSW as the new normal based on the suppression model, at least until a vaccine is available. If that is our plan, we need to continue on with life. But your point on variations of approach state by state is spot on... ive has issues this week ...

I’d love Docs opinion on this, but I can’t really see NSW getting under 10 odd cases?? Looking at the flu for example, even with a readily available vaccine it still exists within community, just at a manageable level. Given the percentage of our daily cases that are returning residents going into 1...

He’s not on a playing contract, he’s on a training contract. If one of our current hookers goes down, his contract and wage would require upgrade in order for him to actually play.

This is a great play by the club.

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2020

I'm not sure either of these purchases would make much sense for the Raiders now. We've a solid group of 21-22 year old forwards in Guler, Hors, Young and then O' Donnell, Darby Medlyn and Harry Rushton coming up. Ricky might want another one in the mix (especially if he sees Young and O' Donnell a...

Re: Canberra Raiders centre Curtis Scott denies he heading to Canterbury Bulldogs

I can't imagine any NRL club being interested in Scott at the point in time, and even if they were they'd only be willing to pay pennies on the dollar. I'd say it's a deliberate move to bring him back against a backline that looks like a soft touch. Let's hope it doesn't backfire. I agree Rodge. I’...

I think it's down to the coach. If its legit that Stuart has given up on him, then its a wrap and he'll be gone by rd 1 next year one way or the other. And we move on. No chance. He is not coming here if barrett is coaching the dogs.
It sounds like all his issues with how the situation was handled are aimed directly at club management, not the coaching staff. A change in coaching staff in no way effects the issues he has with management.

We have the funds, CHN needs to play footy and we need bodies.

And if we throw in Scott to sweeten the deal.... they may not need cotric???
