Re: Off topic

It depends on your timeline - there are a lot of areas with a traditional bad name that are having the whole area changed due to market price. Take Umina for example, has a bad reputation, but has had a massive change in the last decade due to its location (quiet, beachfront etc) and its access to S...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2020

Hayne didn’t fail. The new mob were keen for him to stay, but he made other plans Yeah... nah. Other plans = Fijian 7s team. Hayne got tapped in the shoulder by the 49ers and he was given the opportunity to bow out as gracefully as he could. I feel like some accusations aimed at him in March ...

Re: 2020 NRL Nines: Teams and Game Day

What's the point of this We have ticked the nrl's boxes That's the point I'm not sure we have, how many first graders actually played ? I wouldn't mind betting we will get a fine for that. On another note... I hope Starling and Frawley don't get anywhere near a first grade jumper this season. They ...

Re: 2020 NRL Nines: Teams and Game Day

Now I know that we treat this comp with nothing but disdain, and what has happened has absolutely zero to do with our season, but it still hurts watching us get absolutely schooled like that. You would think the kids would be out to put on a show at minimum - Ennis picked up the short kickoff defici...

Re: Curtis Scott breaks silence on Australia Day incident

Much better stance to take.

‘It wasn’t that bad but I should never have been there’.

Character witnesses etc.

Great move from the new lawyer, instead of taking in the NRL head on, they are giving them the story they can use. Smart.

Re: Canberra Raiders knock back Josh Dugan approach

Everyone in the footy world knew when he started whinging about 'needing to be paid fullback money' while he was at the Dragons that it would end up badly. It was obvious that his style of play was no longer suited to the modern 5/8 style fullback, and anyone paying him $800k plus was going to be bi...

Parasite... We’ve seen that film, up to the final turn many times before and it’s been done much better. The comedy and acting overdrawn... grated a bit with me. The final twist is not so much a twist... rather it was designed to shock. The motivations of the father don’t gel... it is far too much ...

Yeah as long as you can access trails that have similar elevation. I think that's important. You climb about 850m in the last 12km. That could be very demoralising if you're not familiar with that kind of incline. I saw people tap out in that last 12km, as incredible as that seems. Sent from my SM-...

What am I missing here? The no fault stand down rule was implemented for serious charges that carry the potential of 11 plus years gaol time if convicted. Greenberg has every right under this system to enforce a no fault standown at his discretion. That is clear. Given this charge involves not just a police officer, but a woman (and a bloody taser) I would have no problem if this was enforced. What I have an issue with is Greenberg saying ‘if you don’...

Greenberg is a dunce when it comes to these type of things. I’m disgusted at the allegations against a player in green. If found guilty, I would have no problem with the team tearing up his contract.
