Re: Corey Harawira Naera’s career remains in limbo
I don't think bot's post was unempathetic. He was laying out the reality in an attempt to simplify the situation for others that think CHN can simply be paid out to get him off the books (not withstanding the salary cap implications of such a pay out). I have been following this thread for quite som...

Re: 2024 Round 6 v Titans: Teams and Previews
I have been critical of Levi, mostly for running at inappropriate times, but he played well. He seems to be getting more selective with when he runs. Starling is offering nothing. I don't think Woolford offers any game turning dynamism that warrants him being picked over Starling, so I'd like to see...

Re: 2024 Round 5 v Eels: Game Day
I wonder if Jack was watching. Hello Jack. How good was that tonight ? Enjoy being last and 300k poorer for it I think he ended up going for $700K, turning down our $1.2mill. So even poorer still! Ooft. Well if he stayed then maybe we’d be last… him leaving did cause the rebuild penny drop… But it’...

Re: 2024 Round 6 v Titans: Teams and Previews
I have only been able to watch highlights of reggies, but given what I saw in the trials and RS's conservative approach to bringing kids into firsts I don't think we'll see Chevy if Rapa is out.
Would love to though.

Re: 2024 Round 5 v Eels: Game Day
Really liked seeing Strange expand his game tonight. His first 4 weeks have been "run first" dominant (which is fine for a rookie half). Was great to see him engaging the line and passing. Was also great to see him play slow at times - where he slowed down to then engage the line. It's a s...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2024
I hope we're still interested in Fifita. Des hasn't had an impact as I thought he would. He would still be a huge acquisition for us. The Titans have been absolutely awful It's abysmal. Something in the water on the Gold Coast. If David wants to do anything in his career he should depart. Not just ...

Re: 2024 Round 3 v Warriors: Game Day
Thought Smithies and Guler were excellent tonight. That penalty not long after the Tapine no try really changed momentum. If Danny Levi is going to continue to be picked in first grade he should only be allowed to pass. Completely killed sets when he tried to run, especially on the line with 13min ...

Re: 2024 Round 3 v Warriors: Game Day
Surprised to see Savage get so many points in the fan vote. What did he do ahead of Timoko, Rapana, Smithies, Fogarty? Good try saver but other than that was solid. His first half was ok. The kicks were being put between he and Rapa a lot. Once they switched to predominantly kicking to Cotric he di...

Re: 2024 Round 3 v Warriors: Game Day
And to be clear, neither did Starling. Or Cotric, Savage, or Hopoate. Rapa was all effort as always and a solid contributor, but tonight was the first time that I found myself thinking his time is up. Can't push off players as much anymore and just no pace. I’ve thought Rapa’s time has been close t...

Re: 2024 Round 3 v Warriors: Game Day
Morgan Smithies needs to play 80. He is the competitor we need, is into everything like a dog with a bone. Absolutely love a everything about Smithies. I was very impressed with his game tonight. For his style/role it was a break out game. Did lots of dirty clean up work and locked up the middle of...

Re: 2024 Round 3 v Warriors: Game Day
Another thing with Levi is why the **** is he lining up to take a hit up third play of the second half? And why the **** is he the one opting to go for a run rather than pass to Fogarty for a two point attempt at half time? If we have to have Levi for the lack of other options then I can live with ...

Re: 2024 Round 2 v Tigers: Game Day
Probably been said already, but outstanding game from Strange today. We have an absolute gun on our hands. The try was great but the tackle on Staines (yes it was penalised) after missing the tackle on Papalii was simply outstanding for a player his age and three games in. Effort play after an error...
