A student who has $12000 to lend to someone is not a struggling student. Yes Waqa has done the wrong thing but channel 9 has blown this out of proportion.

Re: NRL ladder predictor: Critical results for Raiders hopes
There is a lot of 8 point games in the next 3 weeks. Rnd 24: Cowboys v Sharks, Raiders v Panthers. Rnd 25: Panthers v Dragons. Rnd 26: Manly V Panthers. Then taking into account Broncos v Dragons rnd 24 and Cowboys v Broncos rnd 26 (if Tigers defeat Cowboys rnd 25) then it becomes a mess trying to w...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2017
Angus Crichton only played lower grades for the roosters way back in 2014(sg ball?), would he even have many former team mates in the roosters FG squad? Latrell Mitchell and Joseph Manu to name a few. Maybe we could just sign Chrichton, Mitchell and Manu as a trio. Chrichton was a roosters fan grow...

Re: 2016 Finals Wk 3 V Storm: Game Day
We weren't outplayed. We were out-reffed. The sad thing is that Eddie appears to have become the new bugarelli. He catches either of the main ones he drops and it's a different result. I think our undoing was actually looking for penalties and getting agro at the wrong calls instead of focusing on ...

All we need is someone at hooker who tackles all game and offers a service to the first receiver. We dont need a carbon copy of Hodgson, just someone who will do their job. If Fenson can replace Priest then he can pick up any dirty work in defence. All Baptiste has to do is pass a ball from dummy h...

Re: 2016 Finals Wk 2 V Panthers: Teams and Previews*Teams p1
It will be interesting to see if the Panthers decide to run the ball again on the 5th like they did against the dogs. Our edge defence needs to be wary of this, they have so many players with off loads surrounded by speedsters. In all honesty, I hope they persist with it. You loose so many metres an...

Re: Viking clap
I don't think it was disrespectful at all, if anything it adds rivalry to the game. No we don't want to go down the road of hooligans such as football but NRL crowds need a bit more atmosphere which the clap and Ennis did create. I loved seeing our fans react to Ennis too. At the end of the day it's...

Let's hope the refs don't ruin a great occasion today. Last night's reffing was absolutely putrid, probably the worst I've seen all year. It looks like they favoured the home team so let's make some noise and hope the trend continues. May the best team win though (Canberra of course).

Let's hope so. The thing that worries me though is playing the cliche 'finals footy' where everyone digs deep in defence. Its more then just smashing people in a tackle, there can't be any gaps out there or players holding off the ball runner. I'll probably get shot down now

Re: Wighton facing a four game suspension
It was a STUPID tackle given the context of the game and what he had to loose. Yes I agree he deserves to get charged for it but if Wightons going down, surely Ennis has to too. The NRL cannot be this inconsistent at this time of year. I feel if he fights it he will get let off or theirs going to be...

Is it worth playing Sezer at 5/8 and Sammy at half? Both their natural positions so might perform as a pair better that way. 5/8th is not Sezer's natural position Nor is it Sammy's. I don't see it as a big deal though due to our style of play. The times when Sammy has taken on the line he actually ...

I actually feel that we will learn how far we have come as a team after this game then the previous 2 weeks. To be a force we need to start winning games that we are expected to win which we haven't done in the past and this year with the draws against Newcastle. After the finish against the Warrior...

It still amazes me how he has transitioned to the NRL. When he first arrived he was good but his game has come so far in the last 2 seasons. He has defiantly stepped it up a notch since arriving. It makes me think if other 'good' players in the ESL can come over, play against improved opposition wit...
