Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2024
Bit of noise in internet land about D Brown going to the Warriors. these internet streets are wild but occasionally true, if the eels were happy to let Brown walk, they'd be keeping Sanders to play LH next to Moses. cant imagine that one but ill follow with interest. Stranger things have happened!

Yeah i thought he looked pretty good in that game too. Had little Patty Carrigan about his game imo... stylistically i mean.Bluesbrother wrote: ↑May 22, 2024, 7:06 pm I thought he was impressive from that 19s game last season. I remember the 13 being really good.

Perfect player to bring in off the bench. I reckon 2025 will do him. Can wrap up his career with back to back premierships. Sent from my CPH2021 using Tapatalk If only But alas he's hanging the boots up at the end of this year, as per multiple fox sports articles. A good stint and sad to see it com...

Re: Canberra Raiders take up 2025 option for Josh Papalii
Quitting state of origin has extended his NRL career. I think this is a good call but I fear when the end comes it will come quickly given his age and the rigours of his position. Yeah i think that's pretty spot on. Lolo looked like he was cooked but has really benefited from coming off the bench f...

Re: Trey Mooney inks big extension with Raiders
Trey Mooney himself confirmed it after the Dogs game. Brad Arthur confirmed Sanders departure during an interview before his debut. I feel like the club will do a bulk announcement of the youth signings - just emphasise where the future of the club is going. the cynic in me says the club is waiting...

Whether signed or agreed, TR is correct This deal has been done since about mid last year. And I’m very confident its currently registered and officially done as far as the NRL is concerned As for when you’ll see it on the Raiders.com.au for us fans to get official notice and feel nice and fuzzy? Re: Ethan Sanders signs three year deal with Canberra Raiders
I don’t think clubs really lodge contracts, get the OK by the nrl and then announce them that afternoon
I’m fairly confident he’s officially signed right now and whether he’s announced by the club tomorrow or 4 weeks from now is neither here nor there for the club

I’m left pondering whether the 2024 squad is stronger or not. I’m not sure it is. I might be wrong, I might be surprised by the new recruits. No really big names on the recruitment list, though. The team needed more pace and strike in the backs, and I’m not sure if that’s there… though there are pl...

The Meninga try from 94 would be in the conversation, the game was won and lost by then which is a draw back, but it's an iconic moment in the clubs history and an exclamation point for our GOAT.

I watched Baby Reindeer before Magic Round and it’s gripping, compulsive watch. Very good television. People might be confronted by it, but worth watching. No idea how much is true, but it’s sort of irrelevant. Sadly, i think it's largely a true story. Obviously not everything is bang on. Something...

Re: Jordan Rapana vows to retire a Raider
My experience with watching a range of different sports lead to me believe that it's not very common that a player slowly ages out and goes quietly into the night. It's not often a downward natural hill, it's a cliff and when you fall off, you fall off hard and fast. I think there are plenty of sign...

Last year NSW Cup was being live streamed and Weekes was playing fullback for the Manly side. Now look to t...

I admittedly have never listened to Alan Tongue and made some assumptions there, interesting to know he's gone over the top the other way but you get the point... you don't expect to get a lot of neutrality from people in the media who have a clear attachment to a club. James Graham on NRL360 talked about how we got 2 lucky tries, no mention of the great tackle that caused one but also failed to highlight the Dogs got tries whilst we were down men and then didn't score another point when we were at full compliment. I would not wanting to be signing up for another year if that game from Rapa was the standard
He made a number of pretty critical errors that hurt the team
The argument of keeping him is that on the aggregate he gives us enough in other games to tolerate the ones like the other night
