LOL our nsw cup team is going to have 5-6 guys who are better players right now than a FG player.

Interestingly, neither Mariota nor Horsburgh are named in the NSW cup side... Horse can’t play until next week. Why not. He's served his 4 games. https://www.nrl.com/casualty-ward/?competition=111&team=500013 It's wrong. Not sure how it got there but it's wrong https://www.raiders.com.au/news/2...

 the long game! When you don’t have a professional sports career to lean on I reckon that you’re looking at at least 10 years before you’ll get near an NRL coaching gig But i digress… it’s round 3, most of this this was entirely predictable even if it’s super disappointing. But there is no way ...

Interested to know why people think Cotric should be selected this week over Schiller. Schiller is absolutely tearing it up at NSW cup level and couldn't have really done much more to put his hand up imo. He was unlucky to miss out in round 1 but didn't sook and had a proper crack in NSW cup which ...

I was hoping all of this was just softening the ground so that when a basic stadium design (like Robina) was thrown out at EPIC or Bruce we’d just be so relieved we’d accept it without kicking up a fuss, but the fact is it’s pretty clear now we’re not even going to get that. Wouldn’t be surprised i...

Fog is 30 years old, there is a very natural off ramp from Fog into Sanders
It will benefit Sanders for us to be able to do that with Strange established in the team as a RH, though he is so far putting to bed my vocal concerns about potential struggles as a LH.

Tbh I don’t care much about metres from my edge forwards It’s good that Young is getting involved and taking carry’s to ease the burden but I want my strike players making big plays and creating opportunities. I’m not saying he’s playing poorly, I’m saying he’s not had the impact I’d want from a rep...

This might be a good game for Hudson Young to stand up and show a little something. See, we're all just trying to put forth the best team with the best players
You're happy to change a winning team because you think EW has something to offer, that'll mean dropping somoene who probably hasnt played that badly all things considered.

Just looking at 2024-25, and with the caveat that it's based solely on my opinions right now and that they could change (Hosking is a good example of how quickly my opinions on a player can change) Retirement: Whitehead, Rapana... maybe Papa? Looking at that, i think we should be planning on turning over roughly 1/3rd of our squad in the next 2 years
I've got 9-12 players in 2024-25 that we should be hoping to move on for varying reasons and either replace with younger/better talent or recruit the replacement

Nothing about EW’s play in the last 18 months has earned a mortgage on that spot If your justification for shoe horning him into the team largely based on his role as captain and “respect” and not about what he brings as a player then I think you’re tacitly admitting he’s not good enough He’ll be in...

The sooner we move to a 6 man bench, the better
Pick your bench, ability to cover all positions and use them as you require
Allows a bench half/hooker x1, couple of middles x3, centre/edge x1, specialist back x1
