I think the roosters late surge was more down to the panthers putting the cue in the rack
It got in any real danger, they'd have ramped it back up and won.

Re: Ex Raiders... where are they now?

He did what was asked of him. His passing and processing was faster so that's a good sign, but for the most part he was what he was here... still needing an early pass. The talent around him is very good and he kicked well and defended well which is really all the panthers need and want in a back up...

Re: 2024 NRL Round 4: Teams and Game Day

Yeah, I never really rated him as a NRL level half and I don’t think we’ll ever miss him, but he seems like a nice guy and I wish him well and I’m glad to see him doing a job for a red hot Panthers team as a back up to Cleary He’s just a good back up half Because he kicks well and tackles well You ...

He’s definitely improved in his game speed but he’s mostly doing exactly as he did for us
Kick well, defend well and pass early.
They’ll survive with the talent they have with him at half

That was less of a try than Strange’s no try last week. Seriously **** like that is why some people think there is a massive problem with unconscious bias in this league. Disagree
It’s JWH’s responsibility not to impede a defender. Edwards doesn’t change his line at all, he’s running to the contest and must not be impeded

I’m perfectly fine with those being penalties

Depends on who you are and what your standing in the team is. Do you want Joe Tapine thinking he'll get demoted to NSW Cup with a few so-so performances in favour of a **** hot few weeks of Mooney? No. But Saulo and Guler should absolutely be fighting for their spots week to week to hold off the guy...

I may be wrong but I think Ricky will bring back Hoppa when his burns heal but will drop him for Schiller/Chevy/Asomua later in the season. And next year when Rapa’s spot frees up, it’ll be one of those other guys taking it. Ricky is slow. So very slow. But I think he’ll get there on this one. 100%...

Re: Canberra Raiders miss out on David Fifita

On the Fifita thing itself, i dont think a club like ours can actually turn down recruiting a blue chip player like him if it's actually possible. With EW surely departing at seasons end we have a need at edge, albeit not as significant need given how well Hosking is going I am mindful that Hosking ...

Im not seeing anything in Savage that i dont think he could have provided last year. No one will know what he could or could not have done at NRL level last year because he was not given the opportunities. What 2022 showed and what 2024 is now showing once more is that he was a talent worthy of bein...

Re: Canberra Raiders miss out on David Fifita... for a second time

I doubt there's that much cash to splash, Strange, Timoko and Savage need deals by November. Need to sign Sanders too. Plus I’ll wager Raps has a contract next year I wouldnt bet against you on that because the Raiders will keep paying him if he's playing OK. But i really do think we need to move o...

TBH I don't think any of these QBs are worth the mega contracts being offered other than Mahomes, Allen and maybe Burrow. Those 3 all elevate the team around them. Re: Canberra Raiders miss out on David Fifita... for a second time

Marshall King is not a bad shout. He's a good but not great hooker, would be a good improvement for us and his age puts him on a time line that suits as a hold over for our young talent to have time to come through

Would only be interested if we could get him early for 2025.
