Re: 2024 Round 15 v Cowboys: Teams and Previews *Teams p1*

I get the concerns around Stuart’s comments but I think he’s the sort of coach and Strange is the sort of player whereby those conversations and the motivations for those comments are pretty clearly outlined And I think in this instance Stuart is correct Strange is the sort of bloke you name in your...

Re: Rugby League 2024

Why is PNG even being considered? They have passionate fans and that's about it. No infrastructure. Unsafe place to live and to host games. Won't add revenue. Not sure if that was a legitimate question in that you actually don't know, or it's rhetorical. But I'll answer as if it it's legit It's ent...

Re: Rugby League 2024

Perth over PNG is a no brainer. I dont think the player pool is going to be a problem... yes it'll be spread thinner but i also think RL is now firmly establishing itself as the premiere Rugby code in the country and more and more more RU players are going to move to our code, both here and to some ...

Yeah I’m not saying any of these players either should or shouldn’t have been convicted, I don’t know all the facts, and if they’re innocent then it’s a good result for them. If they’re not, it’s a slap in the face to the victims. I also don't know all the facts Some facts i do know are: 1. these t...

There is a reason why there is something like a 10% success rate for prosecution on these sorts of cases and why most women don't bother to report when they are victims. The burden of proof required is very hard to achieve in a he said/she said sort of situation and the ways in which women are attac...

Probably a good comparison point for some of the discussion on how the Raiders players are brought through as well. Strange is playing great but he isn't expected to be "the guy" every week. Good point. Yeah it really is. Ive got my complaints about Stuart in the 10,000 foot view But i re...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2024

Patience is a virtue there were some who wanted us to go after the 23 year old rookie, who's being usurped by a 20 year old for the knights and who's about to spend 3 years in England because our 18 year old make a splash play in 3 games of footy. Galvin looked really good in 3 games and his last 5-...

A bit confused as to why he'd be leaving the Dragons. They have reportedly been interested in Manu and Sualli and also lost Lomax. Flanagan can coach. Not sure what we're offering - 2 international centres on the books here under 25. I'd be shocked if he isn't in our round 1 side and on good money ...
