Interesting that Reynolds is back for the Broncos this week after tearing his bicep, only 10 weeks out. Fogarty had the same injury and is also back this round after missing 15 weeks. Unless there was a different severity, I find the recovery time discrepancy interesting. I think you'll find Canber...

That's been my experience dealing with them on this side too. Just needlessly obstructive, and painfully difficult to even get proper engagement with even when you're trying to achieve an outcome that is objectively a positive outcome for their members. None of this from the CFMEU is surprising. Never much cared for unions. Whilst i can appreciate the need for them at times and what they've achieved for workers in australia, there are just too many rotten eggs spoiling the broth and my personal experience with unions has never been positive, either...

I honestly think Billy needs to have a good hard look at how he went about this series. I think he might've "galaxy brained" himself a bit and got carried away with his own selections, particularly after winning Game 1 "comfortably". It's a bit like when I'm having a win on the ...

Still unreal that they called Ben Hunt's HIA a cat 2 and let him back on the park  But that's the definition of Category 2. If it is assessed by the independent doctors as Category 1, they're ruled out of the game. Category 2 permits players back on the field. They still have to pass the HIA t...

Yeah i dont think Crichton's was remotely controversial I think his was very clearly a neck injury more so than a head injury. Said so at the time in this thread. He was always getting cleared. I think Cleary might actually grow a leg and deliver at the origin level if he's played with Moses and he assumes the role he played for the Panthers in that final 20 minutes of the GF, with Moses playing the Cogger role You'll have left and right in standard structure... Moses on the right, Cleary ...

Re: 2024 State of Origin III- Maroons v Blues

I think Billy got inside his own head a bit with the constant selection of a back on the bench. Sure, it worked in Game 1, but they probably could've reshuffled anyway to cover it, with a Backrower going wide and Hammer to the back. Up against Maguire's big bench it just really showed in the forwar...

Re: 2024 State of Origin III- Maroons v Blues

Not sure I agree with the criticism of the 'non selection' of Fifita. His defence is awful and he would have been up against either Crichton or Martin, both of whom had sensational series, and would have torn him to shreds. They really missed Tino, Flegler and Munster's unpredictability and experie...

I wonder if NSW had've won Game 1 whether Billy would've evaluated and come up with a more forward-oriented squad? With injuries, were there even the players available for him to do so? Club and rep coaching are two pretty different jobs imo

Also the 7 is Moses’ for the foreseeable future. You can’t pick Cleary of Moses is available. Will be very interesting to see what happens next year if both players are available. There was a lifting tackle penalty reasonably early in the first half - genuinely can’t recall if it was against NSW or QLD.
