Re: Terrorist attacks

 what a tremendous exchange over night I don't see one good party and one bad party. I see one party that is a self serving pack of **** and one that is slightly worse. Of course I'm going to support the one I think is least worse. This in particular got a solid giggle out of me. I don't know (...

Re: Terrorist attacks

Maybe when the other side of politics aren't trying to run on similar platforms. And maybe let's let the grieving families lay their dead to rest before we engage in political point scoring. Neither the ALP or LIB party can hold their heads on these matters. Both clearly see (and sadly, rightly so) ...

Re: NFL Thread

Looks like Ryan Fitzpatrick is officially the sacrifial lamb at QB for the Dolphins in 2019. That should remove any danger of going 8-8 or 7-9. I am FAR less convinced about that... now granted the Dolphins are going to have almost nothing around him, this aint the TB Bucs of last year... BUT Fitz ...

Re: Canberra Raiders say George Williams deal not done

yeah i have no idea what this guy is or isnt, but those whose opinion i value say he's an out and out running half. That's not an fit for Wighton. I'll say this... Hodgson has been a stud, Elliott Whitehead has been a stud, the VERY early returns on Bateman is that he's a stud... I thought Sutton lo...

I’m keen to see how it goes on a dry track. One big plus for him is he is dangerous with ball in hand and not only will take the tackle but has the ability to muscle his way though when he does unlike a lot of five-eighths in the game presently. Yeah there is a genuine benefit from having a guy who...

Re: 2019 Rd 1 V Titans: Game Day

What's the collective take on our new #1? I thought it was a very solid debut for us. His work under the high ball worried me a lot, but that was also disgraceful conditions for a fullback, it was a god damn monsoon out there. So in that respect it'll be interesting to see how he goes under the hig...

Also how good is Horsburgh? Couple of errors but they were due to trying a bit hard imo. He and Bateman should add a good dose of mongrel and energy to our pack this year
He hits like a **** truck. I like it.
Very good around the ruck, he's like a richer mans Mitch Barnett.

Re: 2019 Rd 1 V Titans: Game Day

So if a winger isnt the best winger in the game they shouldnt be in FG? Odd. Not just this year. Never, ever again. Just gloss over his efforts like getting hit by Boyd and continuing on quickly in his 1st ever first grade game. Focus on the lack of communication between 2 strangers. Definitely not...

3 - Papalii
2 - Hodgson
1 - Bateman

This was a forward battle, and i think Papalii dominated the middle. He was tremendous IMO.
Hodgson was brilliant in the conditions, and Bateman was superb.

I know his name is mud here right now and he'll need to string together a few more games in a row to get out of the bad books, but im genuinely surprised Sezer is getting flak here.
