Re: Off contract Raiders... who to retain, who to release?

Incredible that Caleb Aekins has only just signed and he's already going on the open market. It's so ridiculous that players can negotiate contracts 12 months in advance. I don’t mind it Gives teams and players certainty The Aekins of the world... he’s signed here and can now negotiate with other c...

Re: Off contract Raiders... who to retain, who to release?

Guler, Young and HSS should be the priorities
I’d be very disappointed if we lost any of those 3
The rest, it is what it is

Re: 2020 in review - Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad

It’s the same conundrum that we had last year only there is less reason to believe it can be fixed The guy is absolutely incredible in every aspect of fullback play save for ball playing. Ball playing just happens to be the most important aspect to a fullback and their impact on the attack, particul...

I’d take them all
Definitely Lawrence and Fields, I’d take Lance too myself but you’re not wrong that there is risk involved there and some teams abs evaluators might think you can l stay with DJ at that point

Re: NFL Thread

Only just watched the highlights - if you can call them that. So much garbage from both sides but geebus Ingrams gotta catch that pass, would have gone close to putting the game out of reach. They could have kneeled on the ball, and the Eagles would have got it back, no time outs and about 40 secon...

Or rather spoken as by someone who knows how many fathers of young children there are playing in the NRL, and who do not have incredibly weak excuses used for them to explain a large drop in form over an entire season. First point, and this is a point i always like to make. Listing potential reason...

At what point does elliot surpass furner in our greatest team? Dont get me wrong, furner was amazing, but Elliot is an absolute stud who joined the team when we were struggling and has played a major role in our resurgence It's hard because Furner was a genuine stud in a star studded line up, but h...

Re: NFL Thread

I mean i dont really want to win this game, the last thing this eagles team needs is to be a 7 win play off team
but how the giants werent flagged on 4th and goal is beyond me, huge play in context of the game

Wentz has looked miserable at times and then other worldly at others.

Yeah i think the top 5 is really quite clear and a decent drop off beyond them My order: 1. Papalii 2. Whitehead 3. Tapine 4. Williams 5. Wighton Wouldnt argue what so ever about the order of 2-5. I could wake up tomorrow and have them ranked differently. Not much between them. Papalii hands down th...

Re: Sebastian Kris returns to training

Thought Kris looked pretty solid in his limited time in FG. Certainly to be me looked capable of being a guy who might bounce around a few spots, and probably carve out a solid 100 game career probably playing on not very good teams. So I agree that Timoko and HSS would be ahead of him on potential ...

Re: Jarrod Croker's goal kicking

The main thing that resonates with me was that he was filthy with his own form after the Roosters final, and he backed it up with a poor game against the Storm. In comparison, I thought he had a good finals series last year and he shut down Manu in the GF. It will be interesting to see how he respo...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2020

Whare sucks He had this reputation for a little while as a really good centre, i never saw it. And as quick as that narrative bubbled up, he was shunted back to reserve grade where he belong and has barely been sighted since. At his best, he was just another guy who could do a job for you as injury ...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2020

Looking at the clubs huge forward depth I think the club should have passed on signing CHN and used that $500k on the backline We've got middle forward depth though, not edge. As it stands right now, if Whitehead or CHN get hurt, we're probably going to have to move one of Hors, Young or Tapine out...

Cowboys surely get more than another 2 wins this season. 6-10 division win is on the cards though. Give them 2 wins over Dudskins and at least 1 in their remaining games against Pheagles and Giants. Throw in the Bungles and that gives you 6-10. I actually think the cowboys will end up at 7-8 wins.....
