Re: Xavier Savage re-signs to end 2025

He's blessed with great speed. He's working on his passing and already has a bit more of a confidence to shift the ball than Charnze did. Slick decisions on sweep plays are often one of the last things s FB develops so he's on track there. A bit more size and durability will help him next season. He...

I'm liking the captain-coach quote from Jack. A bit of cheeky deflection suggests a good clear headspace. Hopefully that is true for the larger squad Pretty funny actually. Re: Canberra Raiders prop Tapine coy on new NRL contract

Why /when did we decide 4 year contracts are so great? Every single one has blown up in the clubs face.

800k in a cap about to increase 10% is probably about right. 3 years would be about as far as you'd want to go, unless that 4th year is the clubs option. Or only at 400-500k managers option.

Re: Canberra Raiders prop Tapine coy on new NRL contract

It'd be nice if the NRL could finalise the salary cap for next season. Not like this season is nearly over or anything. It's hard to believe they can't set in in a cycle for 2-3 years to allow some planning. This current update at the last minute for next year encourages a) clubs to take a guess an...

Re: Ricky Stuart banned for seven days and fined $25,000 for press conference comments

There are some cases in which it seems the fans have had their voices heard. A few examples: 1. This time last year, fans wanted Mick Crawley to return as an attacking coach. Done. 2. During the off-season, fans wanted Elliott Whitehead to switch to lock. Done and failed. 3. This season, fans wante...

There is a looming opportunity - Whitehead has been open in his aspirations to coach long term. A well drilled team with coherent systems played a club without such qualities.
