Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2019

Flanagan to Chooks. Could have been useful It’s on a development promise that he can learn from Cronk before taking over his position. So I don’t think other clubs were really in with a shot. Mind you, Roosters will dump Flanagan the second a better half comes on the market who considers the Rooste...

Re: Are we premiership contenders?

It’s a 3 horse race when the squads are at full strength and we are just below them with a couple of other teams. I’ll be interested to see when we play the Storm in Melbourne and back up and play the Roosters in Canberra the week later. That will be the telling point. Sent from my iPhone using The ...

Re: Canberra Raiders open Jordan Rapana contract talks ahead of his injury return

Rapana is asking for a lot of coin for a winger. As much as I like him we can’t pay what he wants and with Bailey rising up the ranks it might be better to let Jordan go elsewhere.

Sezer was in and out of that game but I reckon it Williams was playing instead we lose that game. Sezer was strong in defence.
However Jack was the man when the chips were down.

What a great win. Years gone by we always lose that game.

Yeah sure we let them back In but winning like that has never been us. Winning becomes a habit.

John Bateman love him he is in everything.

CNK is leading the NRL in runs and run meters. I think we are doing ok considering he would be on very low coin.

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2019

Tigers apparently shopping Josh Reynolds, McQueen, Elijah Taylor and Russell Packer. If we haven't got George Williams (which I'm fairly certain we have!) I reckon we should have a crack at Reynolds. Solid short kicking game, can kick a field goal from anywhere on the field (as we know from experie...

The only hope is Ennis is in our camp this time but this would of been the game to take to Wagga.

Re: Raiders fight off rivals to pinch electric sprint champ Xavier Savage from the Roosters

Cue the athlete vs footballer discussion. I wonder which of our young players the chooks will now target. Not one of our but I hear they are looking at Ash Taylor and using Cooper as a bargaining tool (to Coach him). You get the feeling Ash will reach his potential at a ‘big club’. Sent from my iPh...

Forgetting about last night for a second, who would you even suggest we buy before June 30? Do you think quality halves are just sitting there waiting to be purchased.
There is a lack of quality halves in the NRL, let alone ones available to purchase.

Would rather Oldfield than Bailey, he is solid but I think Oldfield is better. Maybe Bailey is viewed as a long term prospect if Rapana doesn’t re-sign. Which is a chance cause he is asking for a lot of coin for a winger. You know me and Johnny Mac hanging out on Saturday Night. Sent from my iPhone ...

Re: 2019 Rd 12 V Bulldogs: Teams and Previews *Teams p1*

This team reminds of the Tigers last year. Went hard early in defence in the first 6 weeks then ran out of puff pretty quickly. Except the Tigers actually beat decent teams like Storm and Roosters If only Cotric through that last pass vs the Roosters or Croker against Souths we would be more upbeat....

I was very impressed with Starling in the trial game I went to. Plays direct and is quick out if dummy half. Looking forward to see how he goes. I have not seen much of Mounties how has he been going? This reminds me of the days we dominated Origin and had to call upon players like Steve Stone, Jaso...

Sezer is a must next week even if Jack isn’t selected for Origin. Sezer always lifts against the Bulldogs. Williams can’t sustain more than a month in the NRL.
